Mahle OC 54 Oil Filter

I use these in my old air cooled Carrera 3.2. I get them in bulk because I change my oil often and want my engine to last.

Always a premium product ; It truly does not matter ( 99.9%) of the time where this product is made until a form of effective “ quality control is in place “ - as would be for Mahle - they are OEM manufacturer for many unaffordable ;) automotive brands. These are designed in headquarters made in …wherever …Solid canister, metal end plates, tight organized pleats of filter paper are the basis of a very good filter and Mahle has them ! I remember my original car ( she shall remain anonymous) having wide pleats of paper unorganized, glued to a paper end card board - and to think that this actually came fro the manufacturer !!!!Great product - don’t hesitate :)

Have used these filters for many, many years and have always been pleased and never disappointed! Amazon does appear to have the best price on what we have found to be the best filter for our air-cooled baby, so continuing to purchase here is a no-brainer :>)

I always try to stay with OEM oil filters as much as possible. I was pleased to see that Mahle still makes these in Austria. My old Porsche will be happy to have this filter scrubbing it's lifeblood clean of contaminants.

The Mahle oil filter is exactly what my Porsche requires and this price is fantastic versus buying them from a dealer!!
