The best practice asalatos! My 15 yo beginner can’t stop playing in the car and they don’t bother me a bit. It’s about as loud as them gently shaking water bottles. It’s actually rather soothing to hear. Also, DO watch the seller’s amazing YouTube videos. We did follow the steps and replaced the ropes to his favorite colors. Easy instructions!

This doesn’t work at all. Very light and you can barely get any sound out of it.

These are perfect for what they’re perfect for- adjustable length, quiet practice, basic skills, polyrhythms and hand independence. They’re a little “sticky” and large (50s) for pass through-type skills, and there’s a bit of a transition when going to smaller/lighter pairs. Still, 100% recommend for the collection. Update- I just got the 47s, same great quality, not too small for practice. The larger ones are still holding up beautifully.

Pros: great product. Easy to learn the basics. Quiet and works as intended. Good quality! Cons: just one - IT'S ONLY ONE SIZE! I should have read the comments. 47mm is for kids and men with small hands. Well, I'm a man with big hands 😅 I want to change it up for a bigger size, please. Hopefully they have bigger sizes

After getting "Matching Pair of Authentic Aslatua from Africa", I fell in love with the instrument. However, I was concerned by how often I was dropping them and how the volume they made might be bothering other people as I practiced. I bought these things, because they were advertised as being much softer and more durable, and I can definitely say they exceeded my expectations. They are slightly smaller than the African asalato, and the cork has much more of a grip to it, so it took some getting used to. The sound is great in my opinion, as it gives off a satisfying soft "pap" instead of a sharp clack like the African ones. The fact that they are adjustable made practicing worlds easier, and their durability have lent themselves well to dozens of failed air-turn attempts. I would definitely recommend these, and I almost wish I bought these prior to the African ones.

When I purchased these, I was looking for a quieter set of asalatos to practice with in my apartment at night or at work during my breaks. These fit the bill perfectly. There are multiple sizes available which is great when you're already used to a certain sized instrument. The balls are perfectly round. Also, after playing with these, the rope has actually become my preferred rope. It is soft and nonabrasive on the skin between your fingers. I need to get a rope similar to these to thread my other pair of asalatos with. Warning about the rope though, the ends do fray with some intensity, so good luck removing the "seeds" from the instrument without considerable effort to get the rope threaded back through. If my pair breaks for whatever reason (I dont expect that to happen anytime soon as they are quite resilient), I will definitely purchase this item again.

These are my first asalatos, had to get them because of the cork and I wanted to learn without making to much noise and probably annoying anyone or myself. They are very quiet and soothing honestly. I loved jamming for a while, relaxed and enjoyed it. Very lightweight. The size is about right for my hands I think it's. Aperfect average size. Definitely would buy another pair to jam with other friends or for a musician friend or niece that could like it on her musical learning stage of childhood

Nylon rope and just barely what it says on the tin. I worry people excited about music use this and end up getting discouraged thinking it’s on them.

Justo lo que pedí, exactamente iguales a los de la foto, muy ligeros con respecto a lo que estoy acostumbrada, pero de tacto muy agradable y excelente manufactura. Se tardo mas de lo esperado en llegar por algún problema con la paquetería, pero llegaron aun en un tiempo razonable.

No se escuchan NADA. Pero son hermosos 🤷🏻‍♀️

アトリエマル様で、木の実アサラト(Mカスタム)を購入させて頂き、1ヶ月弱。とても楽しいのですが、音が大きく、家族から邪険に扱われていました。コルク(50カスタム)は、本当に静かです。重さも、木の実アサラト(50カスタム)と殆ど変わらず、気兼ねなく練習できて嬉しいです！ しかし、一つだけ質問が。 当初購入していた木の実アサラト(Mカスタム)は、実寸直径48〜49程度。今回のコルクアサラト(50カスタム)は、実寸直径46くらい。 木の実アサラトは、個体差があるのは理解していましたが、コルクは削り出しだと勝手に思っており、50mmに近い球が来るのかと思っていたので、Sサイズと間違われてるのかなぁとか思ってしまいました。 個体差はあると思うのですが、全体的には小さめに作られているのですかね。 でも、肌触りも良く、紐の色も可愛くて、気に入ってます。 次回の購入の際に参考にさせて頂きたいので、サイズに関してご教授頂けると幸いです。 これからも、よろしくお願い致します。
