We bought 4 of these bags for camping. So far they are great. We can cram them full of stuff and although they are super lightweight, they're holding up. The straps are long and we don't even need the real shoulder strap. The bag is well-designed with all of the zippered pockets and even the slippy thing to put it on luggage (which we haven't done yet). I like how it folds down small, but you need to be really careful not to catch the bag with the zipper because then it's very hard to correct. We have a grey, two different blues and a black and all were true to color. This is a quality bag at a great price and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another size.

This is a great size bag for a four or five day trip. I took it for a three day. It fit all my clothes, my cosmetic/toiletry bag, and my blow dryer plus I still had room for more. It is definitely more of a blue green, not mint green. Mine has three orange zippers which do not show in photos and that was disappointing to me as I was looking forward to the just blue/green on grey. One photo shows one orange zipper, but you have to be really looking for it. It has a decent number of pockets, but they are small. Do not expect to put much more than underwear, socks, or a pair of women's flip flops in them. One section that looks like a pocket goes right through to the bottom of the bag and is not a pocket, so be careful not to put anything in there. I am impressed with the quality of the material and the nice thick straps. The hardware is a thick plastic that seems very durable. Overall, I like the bag, there are just a few things I would change or that I wish had been disclosed better in photos. I think they use the same photos for all bag sizes and there may be some differences in the appearance depending on the size you purchase. I may have chosen another bag had I known about the zippers and pockets, but I will be keeping it as it is good quality.

Perfect for trip to Europe! I included this in my carry on suitcase to Italy, and was able to fill it with souvenirs and purchases to check on the flight home. Very convenient and good quality. Not sure how to get it folded back up to compact- but huge help for this last trip!

Don't think… —just buy it! If you’re like me and find yourself endlessly researching before making a purchase, you’ll understand how overwhelming it can be with so many options available. With hundreds of similar bags on the market, I was initially paralyzed by choice. But after seeing the 17K+ reviews, I decided to take the plunge, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I purchased this bag to be the “I bought wine, olive oil, and other stuff here on the trip, but how am I going to take that home?” bag. Actually, those items would go in my regular hard-shell check-in, and this would end-up with clothing, and other “not so fragile” items. However, this bag quickly proved to be much more versatile. During a recent filming trip in Croatia, this bag became my go-to for carrying extra equipment on location. It’s incredibly spacious—able to hold a substantial amount of gear—and the full-open zipper design made accessing my items a breeze. It handled the rigors of travel exceptionally well, including the real test - the journey back home from Croatia, with a layover in Vienna, and finally landing at JFK - as a checked bag. It passed that test. One of the standout features is how it compacts. When not in use, it folds down to the size of about two 16” MacBooks stacked on top of one another. The construction is robust, and the zippers seem built to last. My only minor wish is that it could compress horizontal, like through expansion zippers, to serve as a carry-on, offering more flexibility for return trips based on my purchases. This bag is a no-brainer. It’s sturdy, spacious, and compact—everything you could want in a travel companion.

Have had many duffle bags but I think I like this the best. Well made, strong good handle straps and great colors

I was specifically looking for a couple inexpensive duffels that collapsed small, basically to shuttle stuff from the place I'm living to the place I'm moving to. This one ticks the boxes on 1) inexpensive, 2) collapses small, so I can put the empty duffels in other luggage on the return trips, 3) has zipper pulls that accommodate TSA locks, which some competitors' duffels inexplicably lack, and 4) seems reasonably durable. Not the thickest or toughest material, but that's the trade-off for folding up so small. I took it as checked baggage on a trip from Singapore to DC and it held up fine. Note: One potential problem I found is that when you expand the duffel the zipper that goes around the bag when it's collapsed (and the little loop handle) are just flopping around, and could easily get snagged by baggage handling equipment. I tried taping them down and that kind of worked, but it is a potential problem. Heheh, and here's a fun fact: Two of these exact bags (Gray Heron color, probably 85L) have a featured role in "Better Call Saul", Season 5, Episodes 8 ("Bagman") and 9 ("Bad Choice Road"). Their product testing confirms that two bags can hold $7 million in cash, but they're not tough enough to withstand being dragged for miles across the New Mexico desert.
