Received this package in a timely manner. Opened the box and the product was in perfect condition. I've owned other versions of the sE Electronics RFs from the RFX to the Pro and now the SPACE. I definitely have to say that as someone who has recorded in many different settings, this is one of the best experiences I've had for mobile recording. In my apartment to a studio to hotel rooms, I get a solid consistent performance.

There’s a lot of cheap vocal shields on Amazon that don’t do a damn thing. I had used the older/smaller model of the SE shield awhile back and this one is an improvement all around. Looks sharp, easier to setup and move, and most importantly, sounds incredible. It really focuses the sound. I’ve used one in a pinch in a room I thought would be unusable for pop vocals and was blown away by how good of a job this did!

Excellent quality & effective. Only complaint is the microphone post is 3/8" thread and does not include adapter for 5/8". I needed to purchase an adapter (On Stage MA200 5/8-inch Male to 3/8-inch Female Mic Screw Adapter) to mount my mic. Small expense, but super annoying -- had to wait a couple days to use my $400 acoustic shield on a $3 part since not something local music stores normally carry. Oddly enough, GC did have less expensive versions of the sE Electronics shields on display and they did have the threaded adapter. Why not included with the Space -- their premium shield -- is a mystery. I thought perhaps a mistake at factory, but it's not called out in the user manual either as being one of the parts included.

Delivery on time, good expectation and the product is very good in reducing noise in recording. I put two sound proofing acoustic panels at the top , it can reduced more noise in air- conditioning room with litttle traffic noise coming from outside .It gives me record a very good vocal voice, then I put the recording file to denoise with iZotopes Rx 4 software , in the Rx that displayed there is a very little noise at low frequency, denoise it to clean sound ,and then arranged it with virtual instruments and published CD album. I recommend to buy this product. Attached an image of comparing noise reduce without SPACE and with SPACE only, the orange color noise reduce a lot in my noise air-conditonal room with little traffic sounds.

I don't know how I feel about this product. Honesty I can't tell if it eliminates noise or not. It's heavy (even though it feels super light) and you need a really sturdy mic stand to hold it up and it's hard as hell to put together!The video guide they have up on YouTube makes it look so easy, but I had to mess around, move parts and so a bunch of weird stuff to get it attached where I wanted it. Also you definitely need those sand bags, heck you might want to invest in a few big bags of rice depending on your mic stand!Honestly, I'd say look around. Maybe it's my mic or my set up, but I'm not 100% sure I'd recommend this product especially if you're looking for a quick solution to a noise problem. That being said I still want to mess around with the product, like I said, maybe it's a problem on my end.
