Q: what is the difference between standard and oversized?

It refers to handle bar size. Standard is for 1" bars 25.4mm Oversize is the new bars that are 31.8mm in diameter.

Q: Have a mark powers post on a terratrike rover that is 32mm diameter. will the oversized be able to work? can a slightly longer screw possibly work??

Q: I have a Specialized TriCross and I only have 9/16" between the center stem and the brake handles. Will this fit?

Clamp is 11/16 wide. The holder extends out 5 inches. Hope this helps. Also. I actually measured. I am not estimating.
