Dog loves this. Didn't break into shards or splinter. She has devoured the joint ends but the main bone is still in tact and she still enjoys it.

This beef shank bone is my dog’s favorite treat. It is long lasting and she will keep chewing on it as long as there is any marrow left inside. It keeps her happy and satisfied whenever she has to be in her crate or just whenever we’re watching TV or relaxing. It is a great value for the money and perfect for medium to large dogs (ours is an 80 lb pittie/staffy mix). It is a bit strong smelling and messy for the first day or two so I usually put down a large brown paper bag or something similar for her to eat it on until she gets it cleaned up a bit. But she apparently loves the taste and so I get them for her frequently. It is also a safe product because of the thickness of the bone, there is no danger of it splintering.

My dog is a strong chewer, nothing has lasted more than a few hours, but she’s had her bone for three weeks now and it’s still solid, and about the same size, she has whittled away a small bit from the edges she chews on but that’s normal for my pup. Shes a pitbull heeler so chewing is all she does, and her jaw is surprisingly powerful, this bone is durable, and at $10 for how long lasting it is, buy it. My pup will destroy a $20 toy in an hour and it’s trash, so to have this being inexpensive, long lasting, and her favorite toy, is such a win.

my dogs love these bones. The first thing my dog did with his bone was go and take it outside and hide it lol we look for it for a half an hour and then he suddenly reappeared with it.They’re a great size for large dogs. They have no funky smell and don’t affect my dog stomach at all. keeps them busy for hours. I’ve never had one split but little pieces do chip off occasionally. I’ve bought these several times, but the price has gone a little out of control. I actually found a local store that sells them for five bucks so I’ll be getting them there.. took off one star for price

It's quite large and heavy for a small to medium sized breed puppy. When I received it all of the end part on both ends came off in what would be a choking hazard for any size dog. The coating is very greasy and brittle and for fear that my puppy would choke on it or get sick from all of the grease, I removed as much of the outer coating as I could and have continued removing it as the puppy chews it loose. The bone itself is fine for a medium chewer but I would not give it to an aggressive chewer as it appears that it would splinter or break into pieces that could puncture the dogs insides or create a choking issue. Will not let puppy have it without constant supervision.

Poor quality, crack easily. Yes I have a big chewer but will last about an hour.Others will last a few weeks.

Cane corso approved though it didn’t last long she loved it. It keeps her busy even after she has broke it into several pieces, she still loves it. The bone itself didn’t seem to smell to bag but the dog did seem to smell until the bone was cleared off. Even with a big dog she was able to chew on it for a while and effectively kept her occupied.
