I needed a case for my MacBook Air and this gets the job done!It has a smooth finish that feels a bit more secure to hold in your hand vs other textured/slippery finishes. Both pieces snapped on and off just fine with little effort. It’s also see thru so you have full view of the Apple logo, (I have the Space Gray Macbook Air) even with the black color on.The black isn’t as dark as pictured, it’s really more of a dark gray. I’m still happy with the color though.The bottom piece (keyboard) hooks onto four places, that’s to the left and right speakers, and two places below the trackpad. It doesn’t hook over any of the corners if you’re worried about that. Although, it doesn’t feel loose at all. It’s a pretty snug fit. It might still provide some protection, but I’m not too sure about a fall to the ground. There are also “ventilation” cut outs on the underside so it’s not completely encased.The top cover on the other hand hooks onto four places as well. There are two clips/notches at the top of your screen, which by the way do NOT touch the actual screen. They sit directly over the aluminum housing. It does not hook over the top corners and onto the screen (as far as I tried, but I don’t want to force it.)The other two places that clip/hook over are the bottom corners of your screen.Most importantly, it goes back past the 90 degrees. I'm not sure what happened with that one review, but mine goes back as far the MacBook can go.I think this was most important to me (and probably to millions of other people) when looking for a cover.As a nice surprise, the name isn’t stamped or etched any where on the cover too. That’s another huge plus!I’m very happy with this!

The cover is very sheer, close fitting and easy to put on. It covers the front and back. The cover looks to be a reasonable amount of protection against scuffs and small bangs. The black cover does show fingerprints rather badly, but a little soap and water and they clean right off.I have read some people are having problems putting on the cover. First I cleaned the MacAir surface to remove any dirt.I then put the bottom on first, by fitting the back snaps in place and then the front two snaps. It helps to remember the snaps act like springs, so I pushed both downward and toward the front to “slightly” expand the snaps. I did the front snaps one a at time.The the top I did exactly the same. Back snaps on first and then gentle downward and frontward pressure on one front snap and then on the second front snap.Afterwards, I run my fingers around the edges to make sure everything was snug.And yes the MacAir will still open 135 degrees (measured) see picture.

This laptop hard case cover is just perfect! I did quite a bit of research, and it really paid off well this time! I purchased a new MacBook Air and wanted really good protection for it. This case is super easy to install--it literally just snaps on. It is high quality, feels durable, and I feel certain it will protect my laptop from scratches and/or dents. And unlike some of the other cases I looked at, this one covers the entire bottom of my computer AND it has four little rubber feet that are a big plus. I cannot believe that there are cases out there that are far more expensive than this one that only cover half of the bottom of the computer! And I got the clear, because I wanted to show off the rose gold color of my new laptop. Notice how shiny and pretty it looks! I am just extremely impressed and pleased with this product! And to top it off, it's an excellent price! Some of the others I looked at were four times more expensive, or even more than that! Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND! By the way, I rarely write reviews, but I'm so pleased with this product that I thought it deserved a GREAT review!

Fits like a glove and I like how seamless the look is once installed. This shell is not rubberized as some have stated in reviews. Having said that, the feel and grip are solid. My one minor complaint is that fingerprints are easily left on the case which makes it look messy. Easy to wipe clean though and I guess without the case those fingerprints would be on the laptop itself. At least the laptop is protected though (I have dropped it once or twice since!) which is my main objective

The case felt sturdy and at first I thought it fit, but the top portion kept unfastening. I went to snap it back on and it broke my screen! I was very upset. Clearly this is not a good fit for my computer and it actually damaged it. I am glad I had Apple Care for my computer, but I still had to spend $99 to replace the screen even with the Apple Care discount. I have the M1 2020, Model A2337. This may be a good case for the other models listed, but not that one. The seller really should remove this model from the list.

This protective case fits like a glove. I’ve gone through many cases but this one had many positive reviews which helped my decision.

This is a great case! It fit my MBA 2019 perfectly. All the ports are accessible, and the case doesn't block airflow for the fan. It's soft to the touch, looks great and seems like it will be durable. I'm being gentle because the computer is new, but I will update the review if I have any issues with the case.Update: Four months into owning this case and a corner of the top case broke off. This is odd since every case I had for my previous MacBook had issues with a bottom corner breaking off. The top case flexes every time I open my laptop because it only clips on at the corners. It needs to have a clip in the middle where you apply pressure to open the laptop lid to keep it from flexing. Very disappointing.
