For years, I've had to choose between a happy scalp and happy curls. Traditional dandruff shampoos would fix the flakes but leave my hair feeling like straw. This As I Am shampoo is the first product I've found that does both perfectly. It effectively soothes my itchy scalp and gets rid of flakes, all while leaving my hair feeling soft, clean, and moisturized. A true holy grail product for anyone with textured hair and scalp issues.

I'm Caucasian with fine, thin, but long curly hair. I've been struggling with dandruff and, because I don't use sulfates or silicone in my hair, wss having a hard time finding something for dandruff. I decided to give this a try and the results were immediate and amazing. I love the tingle and smell of tea tree and after the first use, my dandruff was gone. I use a scalp scrub brush with the shampoo and use it everytime I wash my hair, which is anywhere from 1 to 3 times a week. I saw some people comment in reviews that they couldn't wash it out of their hair. I definitely didn't have that experience. I do use a deep conditioner or moisturizing wash after washing with this shampoo to comb out tangles. I love this shampoo as it totally changed my scalp health, and will continue to use it. I definitely recommend you try it if you're struggling with dandruff, ichy scalp, or build up.

This product is fantastic.I tried a lot of other shampoos to control my dermatitis and none of them managed to do it except this one. I assume the shampoo is effective due to the Zinc that it has.The shampoo is gentle enough to use on curly hair without drying it out but potent enough to get rid of product buildup and prevent white flakes. I absolutely recommend this product.

For more than a decade, I've battled undiagnosed skin issues. My doctor & the dermatologist she consulted offered no better advice than, "apply petroleum jelly." No thank you. So I've been left to my own searches for help. This is the 1st shampoo that healed the sores on my scalp within just a couple of uses. My curly gray hair is soft, shiny, curls are nicely defined. Very happy & would recommend it.

I have itchy scalp and need to do scalp treatments regularly. This is moisturizing but maybe not as effective as Nizoral for itchy scalp.

I've suffered from dry scalp/dandruff for a few years now. I've tried several anti-dandruff shampoos, treatments, hair masks to mild my symptoms but NEVER worked until I started using As I Am Dry & Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo. I was impressed at the difference I noticed after a few shampoos, I no longer have an itchy scalp, or dandruff residue on my hair. It has a great scent, it cools your scalp, and it also leaves my hair smooth AF. I don't recommend using this on hairs that are currently under Brazilian blowouts or keratin treatments. It will dissipate your treatment. But besides that, GREAT PRODUCT!!! :)

This product saved my scalp and kept my hair nourished. I used this as my hair was regrowing from chemotherapy I highly recommend for anyone needing moisturized hair and for dry scalp. Great quality and I enjoyed the scent too. Will reorder.

Have been using it 2-3 times a week now and I will say, the itch stops for a good 24 hours. And no more patches have appeared. Smell is just fine. My hair feels clean after use. I will say however, do get the conditioner also. Ends of my hair are very dry. So until I can get the conditioner, I have used a tad of grapeseed oil on ends. My hair is also too long for my age, 75. So, September is MY DAYCATION month and we are going to have it cut off and styled. The ends really need to go. Therefore, I recommend giving it a try. Jersey
