Follow these directions - awesome product
These are amazing. They are super bright and Come with 3M tape on them. The reviews that say they don’t stay or fall off is due to not prepping the surface correctly. So here is some tips. Make sure to install in 70+ degree weather. Make sure the surface is entirely clean. Then use alcohol preps to clean it again until nothing shows on the alcohol prep pad. Then I highly recommend to use 3M 4298 Adhesion Promoter. Wait till it dries and then stick the lights on surface. Remember you will only have one shot at this. Trust me. Doing what I said above, it will NoT ever fall off. If ya find this review helpful please click below

THESE are the real deal
There are cheaper strips out there, but these are the ones to get! Spend a few bucks more per strip and they will serve you well. I ordered a similar pack on Amazon from another brand (they were 6 for $10) and they were absolute trash - dim, fragile, poor color quality, terrible tape. Geeon is completely different. When bench testing I thought they were too bright as footwell lights, but once installed they were perfect. All 4 strips combined pull about 1.2a at 12v, but each strip varies - somewhere between 270ma and 330ma.As for the install, I created a fused wire harness with +/- coming off the map light, fished it to each location, added a 2 pin connector for easy replacement and called it a day. Whenever the map light is on, so are the footwells. Nice and easy since my model never had the option and I didn't want to bother with switches or 12v cigarette lighter plugs.Pros:- Actual 3M tape means it will stick well to a properly cleaned surface- LEDs are actually bright- Brightness can be dropped with resistor - use something like 4-30Ω in a 10w casing, anything else will burn up or be too dim- The rubbery housing is firm and sturdy but still flexible- Wire is an appropriate gauge and quality- Ends have sockets so they can be daisy chained with a little work- Daylight white is an appropriate 6000k, not light blue like the other stripsCons:- None yet

Higher quality than others
I've purchased three different sets through the years and this one wins the cake. Wires are more substantial than the others, easier to strip (though DELICATELY) and actually have a POS+ / NEG- layout, but they don't mark them as such. They come with a 3M sticky strip already -- what a concept, right? Going to put them on my car, they need sticky stuff. These are the only ones I purchased that did this. Thank you Geeon!

Bright enough for my purposes, and seem to be of good quality
I'm using these lights as auxiliary daytime running lights for my car. No, they are not as bright as the LED daytime running lights that come as standard equipment from the factory on many cars, but they are still quite bright for these types of LED strips. Perhaps ones that I've seen called "Max LED's" are a little brighter, but the those that I've seen do not have as many LED's per foot as these lights. I would describe the shade of white as a "cool white", but it is not quite as bluish as other cool white LED's that I've seen.I did put some transparent vinyl wrap over these strips, because, as with all of these types of LED strips that I have experience with, the clear flexible plastic that makes up the actual strip is soft and would likely get marked up with debris when mounted on the front of the car (this has happened with other flexible LED strips I have mounted on the front of a car). And I put some strip caulk at the end where the wires are attached to help enhance water resistance. I don't know if that was necessary or not, but the appearance of the shrink-wrapping where the wires are attached makes it look like water could get to the actual connections, but there would be no way for me to know for sure without removing the shrink-wrapping, which I did not want to do.I've only had these LED strips installed for about a week, so far, so only time will tell how they hold up and how well my modifications help protect them. But so far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

All four didn't work.
I had high hopes for these and the looked like they were built better with 3M backing. I bought them with another set of LED lights to compare the different color of blue but all four in my package didn't even light up. I am experienced in installing these and the other set I had from a competitor lite up just find.

Unknown Required Amp
The good:- It works at a variety of voltage. I was able to get it to work with 2V, 8V, and 12V.- It can brighten and dim. The higher the voltage, the brighter the LED. However, ....The bad:- Unknown required minimum amp. And tech support can't tell me the required minimum amp. That makes it hard to determine why it doesn't work in a certain situation and what to fix to make it work. Through trials and errors, I know it doesn't work with 1A or 1.5A. It does work with 15A. Will it work with 2A, 3A, 5A, 6A? Nobody knows!- Quite expensive, considering that it can't change color or play any patterns. It simply lights up.

So much bright light to work in the car engine bay now...and great lighting at night when camping
I added these to the underside of the engine hood with a switch so that when the hood pops open, the light turns on. The lights are so bright that I can work throughout the night without additional lamps unless I need to get into some tight areas of the engine to work. Given the low battery use, I usually open the hood and leave these lights on at night so we have some better lighting around camp.

These fail quickly
All working prior to install on motorcycle trailer. 3 were inside trailer as dome lights, and i retrofitted a brake light with one. These are no different than many advertisements as waterproof, they don’t last. Were not working after one road trip, so I'm not sure if vibration does them in, or if it’s rain. We did drive through rain for a few hours. The retrofitted brake like bugs me the worst because I don’t know if it can be stripped redone again.
