It’ll take a while to read through but that’s because it’s filled with usable notes. I’d suggest reading and practicing one chapter a week.One of the best parts of the book is the labeled parts of the camera. There’s a plethora of buttons and being able to identify each one with their respective use is fantastic.

This book (as you would expect) takes the camera's supplied manual and translates it into a comprehensive, logical, easy to read and very understandable set of instructions.I use it for reference (though once I've got enough experience/practice with the camera, it'll be less used) and it's full of tips and hints.I would strongly recommend it for new, and experienced users of this model of the camera.

This book is a treasure of information and hints about my Nikon D5500.I don't use my camera daily and didn't know all its features, and how to use it, but this book helped me improve my photo skill, and it still does. Its a lot to learn for a novice like me, and having a book like this to turn to is great.
