Preheat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. 2. Grease the loaf tin. 3. Add dry mix to a mixing bowl. Pour in 350ml water and 1 teaspoon of oil. Mix thoroughly with a spoon to form a dough. 4. Transfer the dough into the tin. Spread evenly, smoothing the surface with the back of the spoon. 5. Make a cut 2cm/3/4" deep lengthwise along the centre of the dough. 6. This bread comes from Carlow and I come from Kildare...7 miles away from where I am from in Ireland... but I ordered this bread to try it out...and I was not disappointed.The picture on the front of the packet is a true likeness of how your delicious bread will turn out.Lovely aroma, very thick crumb and delicious with butter or a salmon mousse...follow the recipe..this bread is a talking point and is a traditional brown bread with no frills...just hearty and good for you.Enjoy...Liz
