Works fine Easy to install
Works as expected. This replaced one I had that the battery died. Battery is not replaceable so when the battery fails you need to buy a new sensor.

Doesn’t work reliably
I have two of these sensor strips, one works every time when the door is opened the other does not work unless the door is slammed against it. I think metal door frames on my sliding door interferes with the magnet sensor

Be aware, batteries can't be replaced!
Batteries can't be replaced, failed after 4 years now and you need to buy a new one. Feel cheated.

Abode Slim sensor
Sensor delaminates from sticky strip. Not rated for outside weather. Not good for camper exterior doors. Works well on areas without direct water intrusion. Mini sensors are a pain, but much better.

Will not last.
They advertise this as having an 8 year battery life. Not a chance! Mine is dead after 3.5 years and the battery cannot be replaced. They are falsely advertising the longevity of this device. Check out all of the bad reviews.

Died very quickly
The manufacturer advertises that the bat last for eight years that might be true if you only open the door once a day. With us having a nonReplaceable battery, It is not something I would recommend anyone. There are several other options from this company that are not much larger and do have replaceable batteries

Do NOT purchase unless willing to pay a monthly fee!
Unless a monthly subscription fee is paid , ALL notifications are generic and WORTHLESS!!! You’ll have no idea which device caused the alert.
