I'm enjoying collecting these books to build up a history of the Greatest Race in the World.

Another of a fabulous series of books on this great annual event. All in the series are well worth the purchase.

Brilliant series of books by Quentin Spurring. You will not find a better written history of Le Mans

New Zealand in the 60s was a desert regarding info on Europeon .motor racing. Magazines took 3mthes to arrive if ever .Even tho time has passed. To have these books{ I have all the series]now .is fantastic. On top of that the photos are first class, information on the cars and drivers great , factual and dispels some of the myths that followed the race .I regularly still pick up and read all Spurrings Le Mans volumes All better than any others I have seen Im sure they will become collectors items JE

Great job by the author detailing the participants, results, story, key facts influencing the race, and side-stories. Nice series completing any books you may have on Le Mans, esp the 3-book encyclopedia.

Excellent livre encore une fois . Je le recommande vivement aux passionnés. Attention par contre le livre est écrit en anglais et une maîtrise de la langue est nécessaire.

What an amazing record of Le Mans in the '60s. Many excellent color photos bring the era alive. Detailed results of all three competitions held each year (no, it's not about who crosses the finish line first!), with marque by marque commentary by the former editor of several Brit racing magazines including Autosport. Great insights not only into results, but also how the races unfolded along with vignettes of drivers and behind the scenes stories (Ferrari had many!). If you only have one reference book on this topic, this should be it.

Arrived ahead of time in excellent condition. Great book for racing fans.
