Administration of Government Contracts 4e 4th Edition

Although this book is valuable to contract specialists it is so outdated that it is not very useful for current issues such as socio economic programs, problems with commercial contracting and related today issues. I purchased this edition thinking that it was updated. I could have save myself the 125 bucks and just used my old one from the 80's. Back to the internet and looking though hundreds of cases to find what I need.

I'm a newer ACO in a field office. This is a text I've been eyeing for a few years but finally bit the bullet and bought it. It is indispensable, especially for contracting personnel in the field with less access to the deep and broad resources generally available in larger offices. Indispensable.

If you want to learn from the experts then this is a must have. NO BETTER book in print that teaches you about the details of government contract administration. These guys are the pros!

Works well

Excellent Request for Equitable Adjustment coverage. The Kindle Edition made searching easy. Citation was automatic when pasting Kindle text into Pages. Very useful in preparing a REA and interacting with legal.

This book was very wordy and not easy to read. Felt like it was a waste of money honestly, but maybe it was the course this book complemented that made it seem that way. I've seen better contracting text but if you like to read about cases start your 4 month journey to completion of this "interesting read". I think that in order to undrstand contracting this book is not necesssary

Allows our contracting staff easy access to a quick tool for granting and working on government contracts easily, efficiently and timely.

A bit expensive, but a great resource.
