Bondhus 20399 Ball End L-Wrench DoublePK w/BriteGuard & GoldGuard Finish

At work, I've gone through multiple sets of "L-wrenches"...where I work they'll replace them for me, typically with what I would describe as premium import brands.After getting a Bondhus set for my home, I was impressed with the quality vs. price, especially as a USA made tool. When it was time to get a new work set, instead of taking another free replacement I decided to purchase the Bondhus ones on my own dime. I'm glad I did this, because after quite a few months of professional usage, none of the wrenches have worn or rounded. Haven't had to take them to the grinder and shorten the small end to get the grip back. Perhaps I'm being more careful and seating them correctly and making sure the screw's receiver is cleared out, but these were practices I already employed with wrenches I'd gotten for free.Seems like these are made with more accuracy as well, I find they fit tighter, which has the effect of engaging the screw facets better and lessening the rounding wear that typically occurs. I think the metal hardness also contributes, especially combined with the sizing accuracy. I've also noticed less, if any, ruining of screw receivers even when I'm applying more torque than needed (I can't help wanting my bearing set screws tight ;).Overall, I'd highly suggest these. For a little more than "import premium" price, you get a tool that'll outlast several sets. I've got work sets and home sets now, cost savings achieved!

The media could not be loaded. These appear to be really good-quality hex keys. I had previously ordered the colored set from Wera. They were so beautiful, but if I'm going to pay $75 for a set of hex keys, they better not be missing any sizes. The Wera multicolor hex keys are missing:.050, 1/16, 7/64, and 9/64. I returned them and ordered this set instead. These seem to be of similar quality; they're not missing any sizes, and these have a lifetime no hassle warranty, whereas the Wera do not. Wera considers them a wear item. I like the brightguard finish because these will be easier to see in the bottom of my tool bag or if I happen to leave them under a car or in a dark place. I believe in buying the best quality tools you can afford, and Bondhus is known for having some of the best hex keys in the world, and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Can't say enough about these things, I've owned them for about 4 years now. They get used at work in a machine shop. They're used all day every day and I still haven't been able to break or round one off. They fit the bolts better than others as well.

I work controls and automation and theses are a must have will have to warn when they are new expect a very tight fit with some bolts until broken in and used but other then that they are very good for the Price and are Premium grade tools

Great buy. The difference in colors helps keep them separated when both packs are scattered out on the bench. Great quality.

2016, $24.00, 2024, $44.00... Hope I don't lose again in another 6 years and have to buy a new set for $80.00.. As far as quality, great set and made in the USA so it's still worth it to me. Buy American, employ Americans. Pretty simple stuff.

I like the coating on these better than just the black many other come with. Should keep the rust away a little longer. It's not as nice looking as the Japanese made Vessel keys I just got, but still good. These are a standard length, the longest being about 6 inches long. They fit the fastener a lot better than the other cheaper brands. It also says these have a lifetime warranty through Bondhus on the package. The two smallest sizes move pretty freely in the holder, but won't fall out. I'm not concerned about that anyway. These are good hex keys. Better than Eklind, in my opinion, but not quite Vessel, Wiha, or were quality. bondhus has a good reputation.

These wrenches are a great product, and the holder is too. They quality items made in the USA.
