Received just today this very nice and compact travel bag for carrying and safekeeping the 2.5" external drive.Its nice looking. The box contained one hook for belt and another for hand. There is net pocket on the upper lid where data cable and of course a few small things can be kept. There are two elastic bands to keep the drive in place and also there are also two bubble pads on both upper and lower side. Thus the drive is kept very very safe and I believe that the drive will remain safe even if the casing is dropped from quite high place or crushed over it. The build quality also looks very good and stable.On the CONS side, there is hardly any room left to keep anything else that's why I call it compact.Over all a good buy and a nice choice. Thank you manufacturer, seller and Amazon.

I got this for my segate 2 TB hard drive after seeing the review pictures. It comes with a short lanyard and metal buckle just as shown in the product picture. The outer casing is moderately hard and the inner surface has padding, this is quite ideal to absorb shocks from falls.The only con I see as of now is that it doesn't have much space inside. The hard disk fits all corners loosely but the thickness is a real snug fit.

The case is quite strong but slightly over padded. This makes it very compact and lose space for the hard disk inside. I ordered it for an ultra slim SeaGate HDD which easily slid in, but I won't recommend this for anyone who is buying it for a thick WD hard disk as it will make the case extremely bulky and not so easy in carrying. Otherwise the product is really good and I feel safe to keep my hard disk in it.

Product looks really good. Safety measures taken really well but looking tooo conjusted n tight when we insert an external HDD in this pouch. It is tooo tight after inserting the HDD can not even freely move the ZIP of this pouch. At the time of manufacturing Product size has to increase more than this atlease 1 inch. Product cost also very high.

This case is well built an should offer a lot of protection to the drive it's holding. It has a wrist strap that makes it (almost) easy to pull it out of a side pocket of a carry case for my laptop - the only complaint being that it has an odd swiveling contraption on one side that sticks out and catches everything - including the edges of the pocket it is in - which makes it hard to get in/out as well as interfering with other items I add/remove from the same pocket. The wrist strap has a small metal clasp that connects to a metal D loop on the case. This clasp is too small to connect to this swiveling loop on the back of the case.

I loved the design of this matte black pouch and it holds my: hard drive (1TB WD My Passport-thick), my cable (for hard-drive) and my three USB sticks.There is a little more space but sadly over crowding it puts pressure on the hard drive by denting it (the previous reviews said you could hold two hard-drives so I think they mean two thin seagate hard-drives but that would leave no space for the cable only small things like usbs)I also expected slightly more padding but this does the job well!The only thing was when I got my pouch the hook was scratched up and it looked used, and there was also a slight dent in the pouch! But it’s still strong and I’ve had it for about half a year now.A Tip: dust out your hard-drive once in a while as it can sometimes gather lint (dust) being inside.Additionally the delivery guy was horrible!He came to my house called n left immediatelyAs soon as I called back he made me drive to him to pick up my case and then made me wait a good 5-10mins- completely ignoring my calls and he saw me even but still kept ignoring meAs I approached him he continued to ignore me and then eventually said he didn’t have change.So again I had to go a shop and get change for him!Can amazon pls stop hiring such casual drivers. It really takes a lot of time out of my day to follow up with delivery guys like this!I’m just glad this was my only bad experience.Posting this here as I can’t give back feedback so hopefully Amazon sees this!

Worth the Price, It will protect Hard Drive in Minor Drops, due to Protection from inside as well as hardness from outside. But make sure to check dimensions before buying. As my WD Passport 2TB fitted Exactly no extra space there after.
