I’m a lifelong fan of green tea. I drink it 1-2x a day, unsweetened and steeped overlong for the added bitterness. I tend to stick with plain green teas as my go to but decided to treat myself, as I do enjoy honey in herbal and black teas, and the concept of steeping honey flavor versus adding honey was novel enough for me to try. OH MY GOSH THIS TEA SMELLS INCREDIBLE was my very first thought after opening the tin. I seriously huffed it for at least a minute. I set my kettle to 190°F for a first try (green tea typically likes a cooler temp, ~170°, but added herbs and flavors need a little higher temp to steep effectively) and this is the sweet spot for me. I tried 200° but it definitely scalded the green tea and ruined the honey taste. The flavor is divine after a 5 minute brewing time (in a 14oz mug if you need the measurement) - the honey aroma fills the air and the ginseng has a sweet, pungent, floral tone. I honestly barely taste the green tea in this unless I steep it overlong, which is probably perfect if you’re someone who wants to like green tea but just can’t quite get it. The taste is sufficiently sweet if you’re someone who enjoys sweetness in moderation. I thoroughly enjoy this tea and look forward to drinking it every morning. Sometimes I will add a bag to my post-dinner cup of (currently) jasmine and green tea, and the combination of floral tones is intoxicating. What a wonderful tea, and at a humble price. What prompted me to write this review is that I am currently sick and accidentally choked on this tea this morning. It was surprisingly pleasant as it went through my sinuses and I thought, wow, I have to make sure someone else can potentially experience this someday!

This tea is absolutely amazing in taste. My daughter and I had some at a restaurant and had to try and find some we could get for home. I want to try other flavors. Its so good.
