Fun Costumes Viking Adult Helmet Standard

For my grandsons birthday. I like the fact that this helmet is actually on the soft side. The hard plastic ones can sometimes break.

It looks ok, its not centered to the nose piece symmetrically, but it doesnt fit well and the description said it has adjustable sizing and has absolutely nothing to keep it on your head, so a dishonest description that gets 1 star in my book. I need accuracy, this helmet didnt have the key features it boasted on...

The helmet looks fantastic, it's not too heavy, and it's flexible. It was the perfect addition to our group costume on Halloween! It does run SMALL. You could probably get a little more size out of it by heating it up and then putting it on, but I wouldn't count on getting a ton of space from it. I would've given it 5 stars if the fit wasn't so small.

Bought it for a pond skim. Skimmed a pond. Success.

Just opened package for my child's Halloween costume yesterday and don't have time to send it back, so I am frantically trying to fix the the rip through the eye and the nose that was was there when we took it out of the bag. Hot glue won't hold and Gorilla glue takes 24 hours to cure. This was actually a decent product and I would have given it 4 stars had the product not come damaged obviously before it was bagged and shipped.

I wear a 7 1/4 hat size. This was really too small for me. More like a size 7, But it is rubber and has some stretch. I like the look of the helmet. The face mask separated from the helmet. I re-glued it with Loctite super glue gel. That has done the trick. In summary: looks good, came apart but was easily fixed, it is not really sized for an adult. $20 bucks with shipping. The review that had the tear in the eye hole should try using super glue. But it should not have had a tear in the first place.

Unfortunately this was a total waste of money. The pieces were pressed together very cheaply and one of the wings was hanging off.

The helmet is a bit small for those with bigger heads, but there is a way to make it fit better. If you put it on a mannequin head, put a blow dryer on high on it for a few minutes, and then let it sit for a while on the mannequin head, it will expand the rubber and mold it to fit larger heads. It’s kinda similar to methods used to expand rubber boots and rubber shoes. This may take a few attempts, but it won’t be hard to take the effort in trying this method.
