This gun is rated at 150 watts. It heated Gorilla glue sticks to very hot at the 220 C setting within 3 minutes. I decreased the setting to 140 degrees C for carpet fiber work. The ability to control glue temp (not just input wattage) is hugely important. I found the temperature control easy to set with my fingernail or the included micro screwdriver. Add to this that it comes with 4 other copper tips of different lengths and apertures. This is the perfect glue gun set, and at a great price.I don't think this gun leaks if you adjust the temperature appropriately and follow the instructions for all glue guns-- keep the tip pointed down whenever the gun is warm, and never lay it on its side when warm. It did not leak with the Gorilla glue sticks I used. I did not try the glue sticks that came with the gun.

This thing is great. Temp.control make it easy.

plenty of heat, I like the different size nozzles, the long one is good for deep hard to get to places, I had to rebend the wired stand to fit properly, but it wasn't a problem to do so, I've already made some useful projects with it using cardboard, a cardboard wall shelve, a cardboard laminator guide, etc.

I love love love the changeable ends for this glue gun. There is nothing I cannot glue with the variety of shapes and lengths. Could never work without this tool again!

Very powerful, great for pouring large glue amount for filling. Does leak glue when standing, but only a bit, much less then previous ones - always have some table cover from plastic under it.

Really like this glue gun. Like that this is a full size gun. Easy to work. Temperature control is great. Spent a little more than I wanted to, but glad to.

This is probably the best glue gun I have ever used. It heats up well and has a stand that keeps it sturdy. It does leak out but I think all of them do. I try to put mine on a paper plate or something I can throw away when I am done. I especially like all the tips that come with it, although I only use the longest tip. I just used it to rebind a runner, and it worked great. Before that I made a cork wreath and I was able to get the glue between tight spaces. I would recommend this.

The temp gauge on the side says adjustable from 100-220deg C. That should be about 212-428 F.The hottest it will get is 110 Deg F!!! NOT enough to melt the glue sticks!
