BAK Case- Leather Wallet Phone Case for the Samsung Galaxy S3

I like this item because is the only OPEN face wallet case on the market as of now. It holds my license ,debt/credit cards and you can even squeeze some case. It feels and smells like genuine leather. Leather wrapped a round a rubberized tpu hard case is perfect, protective and good looking. I don't embarrassed pulling this out when i need to buy something or answer my phone because it has a sophisticate look. The only con is when you take off the case you risk peeling the leather off the actual case. The first time i took the case off the leather already peeled off a corner. i dont know if it was the adhesive or if i was just rough taking it but i suggest either leaving it on for awhile and not taking it off or just simply being extra careful with it. Delivery took some time estimated 2 and a half weeks to get to me, so be prepared to wait.

Was 5 Star. Now 3.** Original Review **Great case. Been using for a few months now and have no complaints. It is well made and fits the S3 perfect. It is a very good quality case and cannot be compared to the low price point cases that ship directly from China.I typically carry 2 cards in it. 3 cards do fit nicely if you want to carry that many. The only con I can see is that because it is leather, and leather stretches, you will probably want to be consistent about the number of cards you carry. If you carry 3 and the case stretches and then go back to 2 cards, you may find that the cards are now held more loosely then you desire.** Update **After a little over 3 months of use the leather began separating on the bottom left and right sides of the case. It separates on the 'face' where the plastic wraps around the phone near the bezel. I emailed BAK and they sent me a pleasant reply stating that they had issues with the manufacturing process that have since been fixed. They told me super glue works well to fix my issue, and also said they would send me a "new" case that didn't have the leather separation problems. I was happy with this until the "new" case arrived in the mail. The case did not appear to be new. It looked like one that had previously had the separation issues, and someone had just super glued it by hand to 'fix' it. I could see fingerprints and superglue marks on the sides indicating this. Not very impressed with their solution to the problem.Overall though I love the case, as there really isn't anything better out there for the GS3. At the current price point though, I expected better quality.

Had this for a few weeks. Very nice case wrapped in soft quality leather. Worked great until the leather separated from the left edge. I'm not sure if it was my fault when removing the case from the phone or if it was defective. Basically I had to return it, although I was considering to superglue it because it really meets my needs as a compact wallet and protection for the phone. Its very functional and I was able to fit 5 cards in it. At the moment I'm torn by the high price and the durability issue. I want to give it another shot and order another one but scared that it will break after the return period.

Hard to find a sleek wallet case for the S3. Just enough for 3 or 4 credit cards and a little cash. Need to add a screen protector.

You will feel smarter than all of your friends for carrying this case. You will think back to the days when you carried a phone and a wallet separately; You will shake your head, smile, and think, "such a sweet kid I was, if only I knew then what I know now."I fit my prox card (for work), driver's license, and two credit cards (due to stupid mom&pops that don't take Amex) in the 3 slots, which is all I need. They are a bit of tight fit but I never have to remove my prox card and rarely have to show my ID so I can live with the tightness. Wallets are a thing of the past and, until they come up with forehead bar codes, this is the future we have been waiting for. We have these three crazy kids to thank for putting down the bong long enough to fill out an application on kickstartr and making all our lives easier. No, really I'm pissed because I didn't do it.

Perfect for carrying my drivers license, one credit card and a $100 bill inside the case next to the phone. Now if they could just make it even thinner it would be even more perfect.

It's great, but the binding is fraying already. I feel it was cheaply made and will not last very long.
