Clear and compact!
For what it is, this does an excellent job. This is a quick reference ESL (English as a Second Language) guide. It's not a textbook and it's meant for general non-native English speakers (contrary to what other reviewers seem to think). I suggest this to my college-prep ESL students and require it for some classes. I teach them the how and why of these skills (this pamphlet does not do that) and here they have great examples that serve also as reminders. This cannot replace instruction/textbook explanations--it's a quick reference reminder for those who understand or have access to more in-depth resources to explain the how/why. For you math folks out there, it's like a list of formulas that might appear on a standardized test--it doesn't tell you how/why to use them, it expects you to already know that.

Great product for the price!
I'm going back to school (all online) and two of my classes are English Composition I and II. It has been A VERY LONG TIME since I've been in school and felt this quick guide would be helpful with studying and almost "relearning" the proper English language and certain things I have forgotten.

I am an English tutor and help ESL students a lot. This chart is helpful for a quick reference guide.

It's a Good English Verb Reference
This reference was created with the ESL student in mind so it is written entirely in English for ESL of any language. I was hoping to find one for Spanish speakers but this was all I could find. Nonetheless it is a useful reference.
