LOVE IT!
Saw this on Amazon at more than half off the auto parts store price. Never heard of this company, so I figured I would give it a try. Ordered this alternator and installed it with no problem. Worked great! Unfortunately the car died 2 years later due to engine and a bad mobile mechanic from Craigslist I trusted. While some mobile mechs are good, others are not, so be careful in that respect.I now order ALL my starters and alternators from DB Electric. Even comes with test sheets inside your order.

2006 Hyundai, Tucson: AutoZone New-$385.99+tax, or Rebuilds-$309.99 +tax. Crazy right...
***Why I bought New instead of a Rebuilt.*** Ya know, our 2006 Hyundai Tucson has a 120amp Alternator. That's because of the amount of electronics. I believe it's the highest amount of amps for a 12 volt vehicle around. I can handle that but what I can't handle is right from ''Jump Street'' a new one is gonna be just over $400.00. I'd hate to see what a Hyundai Branded one runs. At any rate, this is why I bought a new one. When you stand on the right front side facing the engine, the alternator in on the bottom left side of the engine. I can't think of a worse location for an alternator to be mounted. However, it is what it is. To remove the alternator, after it's unbolted & unplugged from the engine, you have to remove it by dropping it down through the bottom of the engine, then all you have is just enough room to snake it around the CV-Shaft. You do not have to remove any other parts, like I told my mechanic, who argued with me about that. I had to show him a YT Video. At any rate, this Alternator came with a sheet of paper with all the values shown from the ''In-House Factory Test'' that the company performs prior to boxing it up for shipping. Even though it had been tested & because anything is possible, I took it to AutoZone & had it tested again, just so I knew all the readings before it was installed. After a month it's still charging at 14.4v with no fluctuations in values, just a steady 14.4v. So paying $155.00 shipped was no big deal for me simply because the normal price for a new one ranged in price from $150. to $210. In other words, it was still in that price range. Plus I have the original one. I am going to purchase a ''Regulator'' [Maybe I'll get the 2-Bushings as well.] for this one & tuck it away in my tool area where I hope I never have to use it but for $55.00 - $65.00 I'll have one ready to install if this one does fail.So regardless of whether you prefer going with new electronics, or you're the type of person who only buys rebuilt because of the location I'm not sure I want to trust any online parts supplier that I've never heard of. I mean I would have to see/read articles that can prove that the online retailer is also a car manufacturers supplier. The approximate time taken to replace the Alternator on our 06 Tucson was close to 3 hours because of other vehicles that were also being worked on the day I dropped off our Tucson [1 mechanic with 1 helper]. So getting the actual total time was more of a guess rather than the true time spent on it. But plan on spending over 1 1/2 hours to be safe.Although you can get OEM Alternator's, expect to pay in the neighborhood of $550-$625....Would I buy this brand again? So far I see no reason why I wouldn't. It looks exactly like the **Hyundai Alternator,** made by Valeo Electrical Systems Korea that I just replaced. Now lets see if it'll last 13 years/151k miles.

Fits perfect!!!Hyundai Santa Fe 06 2.7
During June, I bought this piece for Hyundai Santa Fe 06 2.7, fits perfectly and it exactly same as the original from the car. It’s has been 6 months, so far no problems!I didn’t get a change to take pics but it was brand new. No scratches, or grease on it. Brand new. Installed in the front, passenger side. That’s where my alternator is located at. For the price it was worth it.

Received my unit March 7th, for a 2006 Hyundai Tucson Limited V6, its still running strong. Only lost 0.2 Volts output from original. Its been holding strong there. I'm in AZ so we burn electronics in cars fast. I also replaced the main battery cable to it while I was there.I would recommend buying this unut

Hole missing
Easy enough to fix, but had a issue missing a whole, good fit, though.

It works.
I went into all my local auto stores and this item cost more than 3 times as much. That's why I checked Amazon for the same part. I was surprised at the reasonable price. I got it in 2 days to my door. The Amazon site asked for my car year, make, model to make sure this part will fit before I hit purchase which is a really nice feature.

Fit exactly and was a third of the price from the dealer
$575 For an OEM alternator. "But its a genuine OEM part" (dealer).... me.."but its JUST an ALTERNATOR!"Fit perfectly, was the same price as a used salvage alternator from local yard, and it was going to ship faster via Amazon.
