I suffer from restless leg syndrome and other sleep issues, so my doctors suggested that I try magnesium. Not all magnesium is created equal and can have side effects/interactions, so I did a bit of research before ordering. This is a quality one and hasn't caused any stomach upset. I've been able to get to sleep a little easier and it has helped with the leg trembles. It's been a few months and it has definitely helped. 1body is a great brand as well. Great magnesium supplement. The capsules of other forms and brands of magnesium are often very large, but 1 Body’s Magnesium Bisglycinate mini-capsules are amazingly small so they are much easier to swallow! This is a chelated formula. All you need to know is that “chelated” is good when it comes to magnesium. It contributes to the fact that this form of magnesium is one of the best absorbed forms of magnesium. It’s also gentle on the stomach and is less likely to cause diarrhea than other traditional forms of magnesium. As an added plus, the glycine molecules that are bound to the magnesium have a well-documented calming effect on the nervous system and may help fight anxiety and promote relaxation and better sleep. Magnesium itself helps to relax muscles, so magnesium bisglycinate packs a double punch when it comes to promoting sleep, relaxing sore muscles or calming the brain. Small tablets, chelated and easily absorbed, the extra relaxing benefits of glycine molecules attached to the magnesium, 120 capsules per bottle at a very reasonable price—this is now my go-to magnesium supplement.

I’ve been taking magnesium for 15+ years as a way to reduce stress, tension headaches, and muscle tightness. 1 Body is the best I’ve found for helping with these issues, and I’ve been taking it for the last 4 years. For me, the key feature of this brand is getting a high amount Mg bisglycinate in a small capsule. Other forms of Mg (citrate, malate, taurate) don’t have the same benefits and/or end up with too many side effects (laxative, jitters). Other brands of bisglycinate mean taking more or larger pills to get the same results. I also like that 1 Body reports the weight of the elemental magnesium, rather hiding being the weight of the compound like some other brands. The one downside is that this goes out of stock intermittently. So I now keep a few bottles in reserve and that’s been enough to tide me over.

I am taking this product because my nurse practitioner said my magnesium level was low on my recent lab work. I took a different brand of chelated magnesium in the past, which gave me diarrhea, so I stopped taking it. This Body1 brand does not give me diarrhea or any other negative GI side effects. I take 1 capsule with breakfast and 1 with supper and have been doing so for about a month. There are 120 capsules in the bottle, 200 mg each. This bottle would last 4 months if taken as directed, 1 cap per day, so it's a phenomenal buy! I'm taking 2 a day because of my deficiency, but even so, my bottle will last for 2 months. I will reduce the dose when my mag level has normalized. I can tell I have more muscle strength as a result of taking this, and I think my nerves are calmer. I just had my 71st birthday, and I'm a single female and have to take care of everything, including mowing the lawn with a push mower, by myself, so I need muscle strength. I am very pleased with this product and intend to continue taking it. I've read in many places on the Internet that most people have a mag deficiency but don't know it. I very highly recommend this product.

This has been the most effective form of magnesium for me, and I take a pretty good dose of 1000 mg per day. I’ve switched brands a few times and had to vary my dose based on each brand’s capsule content, so I love that these come in 200 mg capsules each because I can get my daily dose with that even number. Previously I took a brand that had 150 mg capsules and had to settle for only 900 mg/day. Plus this one isn’t confusingly advertised. The serving size is one capsule, so you don’t accidentally order a bottle thinking you’re getting double the amount of magnesium and then find out a serving size is 2 capsules (as I’ve done with other brands). It’s just one, so what you see is what you get. Easy. Also, the capsules themselves are tiny and so easy to swallow. I don’t have much trouble swallowing pills big or small, but it is convenient to be able to take my full 5 pills at once and not get any stuck in my throat. They’re very easy to take. So this brand serves my particular needs very well.
