Brilliant bit of kit been using on rockwool pipe lagging and cuts it with ease

Blades a bit sharp. I have two less fingers now but the insulation is neatly cut.

This is a fantastic product. Neat cuts, easy all be it fiddly to use. Makes the job look very professional! I believe it could be a little bit cheaper but all in all happy with it

This a great tool for anyone that does pipe insulation. It's easy to use, and makes pipe insulation over fittings much neater and cleaner looking.

I had watched some videos of this product being demonstrated and thought it looked like a great way to make a dull job easier, but having received it now I have to say in all honesty I am so disappointed.Firstly, the build quality, It’s just two pieces of plastic and some nuts and bolts. For this price it is extremely poor value for money. The packaging was just a clear plastic bag that had burst before it arrived. Not exactly a great first impression.The worst part of the kit hands down is the included blade which is so dull you could hardly get a clean cut through a stick of butter and the included sharpener just made it even more dull. I tried everything to get a clean straight cut through some polyethylene lagging that you could honestly cut with a butter knife but it was impossible, even after watching the ‘tips’ video from the manufacturer. I think I will send it back, although I would love to just throw it all in the bin where it belongs!
