Not a good experience. Hopefully this is an exception.
One page in the front of the book had a section torn out. Outside very dirty. I need the book so I’ll have to keep it. Hopefully others have a better experience.

Amazing for New Testament study
If you want to go deeper when studying the New Testament but don’t know Greek, this is absolutely the book for you. It has a built in Greek/English dictionary and concordance in the back which is awesome. It is packed full of features to help really study the text.

I’d recommend buying it
I will always be a student, a ‘mathēteuō’ ( μαθητεύω ) of Jesus, and of learning the Bible. I’m absorbing Dr Bill’s Biblical Greek course (along with his Greek for the rest of us [GRU] material).I’ve always (literally) used Blue Letter Bible as a resource ever since my father (a Retired A.R.P. Minister) told me about it in the 1990’s.Now that I’m learning to read in Greek, my tools are changing. This Interlinear is a priceless gem for me.I’d recommend buying it.

Excellent resource for those without Greek language experience
I use this book maybe 4 times a month. A couple of times in connection with my daily devotions, and couple of times alongside other prep material for adult Sunday school classes. With other books, it gives me a way to dig a little deeper on what words mean. Of course I know just enough to be dangerous, and I probably miss the point with verb tense entirely, but you know what? I'm not going back to school for 2 years of Greek study and this will just have to do.My only hope would be for a better built-in dictionary, it's too basic to capture the nuances of many words.Great idea for us non-scholors.

Great book, absolutely awful printing
I'm a big fan of Dr. Mounce, having bought his Greek grammar/workbook, his book, "Greek for the Rest of Us", and the lectures from his website. I was really looking forward to "Interlinear for the Rest of Us".I love the contents and layout of the book. It was exactly what I wanted - a bridge to carry me from beginning Greek to a slightly higher level of Bible study. The printing, however, is an absolute deal-breaker. The pages are literally onion-skin thin. Besides durability issues, the text is just not very readable. Looking at the page, you see the text, the strike-through from the text on the back of the page, plus the strike-through from either the next or previous page. The result is a distracting, awful mess. Can you read it? Yes. Do you want to? No.This is the first book I've ever returned to Amazon, and it broke my heart to do it. If it was re-printed on regular paper, I'd be standing in line, waiting to snatch the first copy off of the press. But the readability issue really is that bad; I reluctantly would not recommend the purchase of this book.

Greek Word order preserved at the bottom of the page.
This just what I needed to refresh my Greek and get back to reading my Greek New Testament. The Greek Text in Greek word order at the bottom of the page affords me the opportunity to make a smooth transition from the interlinear to the Greek New Testament.

William Mounce - genius to the rest of us!
This book is simply amazing and if, without a background in Greek one is searching for an aid to deepen one's appreciation of the NT, you may find as good but you will not find better.I was puzzled as to why one correspondent wrote that the production quality was a deal-breaker. He went on to give details about poor print and paper quality. I do not know what he is talking about. Both are of superb quality...very easy to read or in case of the Greek, to decipher. The detailed word analysis at the back of this book is a work of art! Here is how I use this book.Download an extract from Bible Gateway in SBL Greek and then in NIV; copy and then use a 2.5 line break before printing both off. At that point I follow Mounce's advice and tranliterate the extract in the spaces between the lines of Greek. It is easy then to use the glossary at the back and do one one's own translation.Hope my review is helpful.I cannot recommend this book too highly. Get Professor Mounce's 'Greek for the Rest of Us'. It's a great starter book especially for the vast majority of modern readers of English - who haven't the faintest clue about grammar even in English let alone Greek. It is impossible to study foreign languages, even dead ones - especially dead ones - without a knowledge of grammar so put in the spade work!!

So helpful
I bought this to get a bit ahead in a koine greek course. It is a fantastic help. I can actually read the NT in Greek with English help.
