Very bendy stalk which holds its shape
Very good for picking up small items etc screws or nuts . The magnet at the end is strong for its size, but it’s not a big magnet. The bendy stalk is very flexible and preserves its shape, so you can preform it to get into very difficult places.Overall a very good tool.

Gets through narrow spaces
Worked great to get a table knife out from under the decking.

Got me out of a pickle
Dropped a 13mm nut inside the engine and bought this to fish it out. It did the job nicely and saved me from breaking open the engine completely. The product was as described and the magnet strong enough the nut. As others have said the magnet is quite small and the bendy section is 4-5mm in diameter. Had it been a much bigger or heavier nut then I think the magnet may have struggled.

Fantastic bit of kit
I purchased this item and it was the best £10 I have spent. After getting a broken glow plug which the garage said they were unable to repair without removing the cylinder head, I purchased this magnet whick allowed access to recover the broken off element of the plug. It has saved me a fortune in repairs and new glow plug now fitted. Easy to use and very small but strong.

Quick screw retrieval
A screw fell in the engine of my rotavator during maintenence. I could not see or remove the screw for about an hour of fiddling. I did try a fixed extendable magnet tool but it broke.Purchased this tool, within 5 seconds (I tell no lie) it had retrieved the screw. So thankful. The flexible element was perfect for this awkward task.Saved me money taking it to an expert to open it all up.Recommend.

Not as big as looks in pics
Was expecting a larger product. Very small short and not very strong magnet. Only around 5mm head. Be ok if I drop a small nut somewhere. Other than that not very good for what I required as pictures Deceiving.

Invaluable
If you've never had a glow plug tip break off and get stuck in the combustion chamber you don't understand the value of this tool, it's incredibly thin but the tiny magnet can pick up my set of keys with my car key and 4 other keys on it.Injector out, stick this down the hole, fish around for a bit and pull the glow plug tip out. Helps to have a horoscope too to see where the glow plug tip is.

Pretty pathetic.
Thin, doesn't hold it's shape and not robust. Magnet has awful hold power, might be ok for a lightweight washer but ultimately a poor tool that has no place in my toolkit.Really, for almost £12 this is the best Laser cam muster? A magnet costs peanuts and they've used something with less magnetic force than a bad fridge magnet.Look for something fit for purpose.
