Nails Inc Nail Polish Duo, Girl King, 2 X 14 ml

As always love the quality of Nails Inc products, brushes . However I purchased this set as I was after a decent Khaki colour polish. Thought I had found it when I applied it over the excellent Orly Bonder base coat ( See separate review ). However as you can see from the picture it has now “morphed” into a grey version of itself. No idea why. Still like it though and the Metallic pink that comes with which was not my first pick is now my favourite of the two, it’s a stunning look on the nails. Lasts well as always (with the Bonder). Good value as a twin pack.

Great strong smooth and shiny polish and love the trio size and easy to store in fridge to keep them from going too thick. Janet

I bought the Girl King duo with the green and pink nail colours. I could hardly believe the poor quality of these two nail colours, both chipped within hours, and that was in spite of using the base coat and Nails Inc’s own caviar top coat. I bought this set on here as it was a good price or so I thought, as it turns out for me it was a complete waste of money. I usually use Leighton Denny or OPI I will stick with those two brands in future.

This is a great duo pack of nail polish. Totally different in colour but each is quite a stunner. I love the khaki green - such a strong colour. The sparkly pink really catches the light. Both are very easy to use and both cover in one application - making them good value for money. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I bought this nail varnish set because I wanted the choice of one tomboy colour and one ultra-girly one. I wasn't disappointed. The pink is really great, like pink silver, and goes on smoothly. I used it last month when I was having a rest from falsies, and I found it lasted really well almost 10 days straight without a single chip. The green is a super deep matt khaki and again, although I've only been wearing it for two days, I've hopes it will last well. I may come back and report further.

This Girl King set from Nails Inc arrives in a cute bright pink box with khaki green accents. It contains two nail polishes in the signature rectangular shape. They are both really easy to apply thanks to the wide, flat brush that Nails Inc uses, which means I can do all my finger with one swipe each (two swipes for the thumbs!) The colours are really cool: the deep green khaki is unusual and striking, and the peachy-pink metallic colour is stunning, with a fantastic amount of very fine glitter. You need two coats of the khaki for even coverage, but you can easily get away with one coat of the pink and still achieve an opaque look. I found both polishes were touch dry within a couple of minutes, and they can both last for a few days without chipping. This isn't a combination of colours I would have thought of putting together, and I wouldn't wear them at the same time, but I do like the way the set implies you can be both girly and tough at the same time. Recommended!

The pink is nice with the metallic edge to it, the khaki is weird and very highly pigmented so much so that it is almost black when it is on. In my opinion that's a good thing as I do not like the khaki colour in the bottle. It goes on really well with the wider brush and does stay on quite well overall. 4/5
