Beautifully made, intelligent design of socket holder, precision tool feel.
Certainly not your cheapest option - but its as if Apple owned a German tool company - lots of great design touches that justify (to me at least) the higher purchase price vs the lower commodity products.Of course, the sockets are accurate, well made, and seem tough enough for my hobbyist usage. If you're repacking transmission cases 8 hours a day, not sure if these would meet your specs - but they are great for my own shop use. Nice features include brushed satin finish, easy to read and colour coded nut sizes, and the fabric holder that has an instinctive twist-lock design to keep the sockets locked in. I like it better than the all-metal, push clip design, that has lots of semi-sharp edges to scratch work and hands, and are more finicky to take on and off. While I went Chinese for my standard combo wrenches (although lusting after the Wera Joker sets that were just too rich for my occasional usage to justify buying), this upgrade seemed a reasonable upgrade. Although not part of this set, the matching Wera wrenches, are similarly well made and aesthetically pleasing. But the plastic switches on the ratchets also make me think, for light assembly only. Overall have made Wera and Wiha my first choice for mechanics tools.

Quality euro craftsmanship.
Beautifully crafted. The twist and remove socket mounts are cool.

No 14 mm
The set is good quality. With one exception. The size markings are lazer etched so they probably will be unreadable soon. But what I didn’t realize was it doesn’t come with 14mm. A popular size in my opinion. I had to buy it singular and it was about a third of what the set was.

Mediocre finish and skips 9, 11, and common 14mm.
Finish is poor. Scratched from being tumbled around with other sockets.Skipping 9 is fine.Skipping 11 is okay, I guess.Skipping 14 while keeping 8mm on a 3/8 drive escapes me...

Quality
I just got this set today. Nice but they're very scratchy on the finish. Some look like the paint isn't uniform and has some fading here and there.

They LEFT OUT THE 14mm Socket !
Went to work on a piece of equipment. Grabbed some tools and then took a 3/8" ratchet and grabbed this socket set. Yup. Got to the job... needed a 14mm.Yup the socket set goes from 13 to 15 mm. No 14mm.If you need a complete socket set... this one ain't it !One Star.

Quality exceeds expectations
I retired my old Craftsman 3/8 sockets after buying Wera. The fit finish and function are exceptional and retain the fasteners with precision. The 1/4 turn retention feature to hold the sockets on the stick works great. I like the color coded bands matching sizes of other Wera tools.
