NcStar Ambidextrous Horizontal Shoulder Holster with Double Magazine Holder is a Good Product at a Great Price! Although some reviews stated that they had to do some modification to get it to fit them, it depends on your Height and Girth? I was able to adjust it to fit me without any modifications because I am around 6 feet tall and have substantial Girth in my Upper Body! If you are Shorter and have a Small Frame some minor modification might be necessary to the Lockdown Straps? The only modification I needed to do is in the Holster. I have a Springfield Armory XD .45 Cal Auto Tactical Pistol with a 5" Barrel and I had to cut a few threads to open up the part of the Holster where the Trigger Guard goes so I could fully insert the Pistol in the Holster and Snap the Strap close! Otherwise my Pistol fits fully and snuggly in the Holster and it gives me Quick smooth access to it when Necessary! Update: Have worn this Shoulder Holster a few Times while walking in the Fields and Woods near my home and I have found it Very Comfortable! I also have the Feeling of Security knowing that this Holster allows me to Quickly reach across my Chest, Unsnap, Draw My Springfield Armory XD .45 Cal Auto Tactical Pistol and Put it on Target with one Smooth Rapid Motion! I have Increased my initial Rating from 4 to 5 Stars!

Good rig for the price. I didn't expect much. I was wrong. I bought this to wear while riding my motorcycle. I wound up using it for concealed carry. Very compact and shape conforms for excellent concealment. Item works well. It's comfortable and holds my sidearm securely. I wear it under a tac vest. My 1911 Gov't 5" and Beretta 92A1 fit well in the holster. My Beretta and 1911 mags fit in mag holder well. I have a nice leather rig that cost a couple hundred. I must admit the VISM works well for what I use it for. For the money you can't go wrong. Update 20SEP2016: Browning 9mm Hi-Power and mags fit. For what I use the holster for it works well.

It’s great for the price! Made by a sister company/partner of NC star called”Vism” the natural fitment is the holster on the left and the double mag pouch on the right but the rig can be switched around by separating the parts by clips and sealing sides not reversing the straps at all. The only con is that the Velcro unlike most doesn’t hold very well at all on the vertical belt straps. For instance I tried connecting a soft holster to the mag carrier side along with the mags and I tried hooking the small holster to the Velcro strip that’s about 6” long and it couldn’t hold the weight at all and would come undone far too easy. Also the flaps on the mag side are removable which is how you adjust for the dize of your mag but sadly will not accommodate any extended mags the flap pieces are too short and they attach by that really weak Velcro but they do a nice job still with regular length mags and all around I’m happy with the purchase and would by again even though it took a couple weeks to get here I’m pretty sure they shipped from Amazon.

This holster is certainly a great value for the cost. I don't regret this purchase and I would probably give it 3.5 stars if I could, but it's definitely not worthy of 4 stars. The quality is better than what you would expect from such a low cost holster. It fits well on my body, however as other reviewers have mentioned, the holster is fairly shallow and so narrow you cannot fit most handguns into this rig. It works for something small like a .380, but you have to do a lot of unsafe cramming to get a 9mm Glock 17 into it. The holster is too narrow for a boxy frame like a Glock and much too shallow for anything like a 1911. This holster is still a great value for a smaller gun, the buyer just needs to be aware of it's limitations.

Being that I am 6'4" 1/2 with slightly wide shoulders I was concerned about how this holster would fit me. So I took a chance and ordered this holster on a whim. Surprisingly shipping was very fast even though it said 3-7 days (or something like that) it came in 2 days and I was elated and delighted that it came so quickly! After the initial "unboxing" of the holster and some quick lengthening adjustments with the shoulder straps I walked to the mirror and I was like this was a sweet deal. This is definitely a good buy, no complaints on the product or material it's made of. I have had it now almost 2 weeks and everything is still going great and most of all IT FITS MY 1911 FULL METAL AIRSOFT SPRING GUN!! COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!! AMAZON YOU ARE THE SHIZZLE!!

Exactly what I needed. For the guy who said it won't fit his 9mm, the only reason I can think of is that he has a 9mm Uzi. I will be honest, I'm not a gun enthusiast... I purchased this for a play. I needed a shoulder holster to carry a realistically sized and weighted Colt 1911 replica. Since I get knocked around a lot in the play (couple of fight scenes and a fairly acrobatic knockout), I needed something that would hold securely but let me draw uninhibited. This holder perfectly fits the replica 1911 and holds it securely. The snapping strap at the back does actually have way too much room, but the holster itself fits the gun securely enough that even with the extra room, the replica doesn't fall out when I'm tumbling around on stage. As for a quick draw, the holster is tight enough that in the scenes where I actually need to draw the gun (and am not bouncing all over the floor), I can leave the strap unsnapped and draw comfortably. All in all, for my needs, it's perfect, and for someone who actually needs this to hold a real weapon, I believe it's in the range of "good enough".

This item is absolutely horrible. I really can't think of anything good to say about it. -Itchy, rough material. The material used in this holster is itchy and uncomfortable. I can't imagine wearing this all day long, especially on hot days as I can foresee a rash. The cushioning in the shoulder pads is also almost nonexistent. -You have to wear pants with a belt. There is no way to really rig this up in any other sort of clothing which is a major downfall for me. -No instructions or guidelines included. You may think "well, gee it shouldn't be too hard to put a holster on and adjust the sides to fit with your grip" and you are correct, it shouldn't be. However, with this holster it is very difficult. There are so many things you need to adjust that it takes trying to find the perfect position way too time consuming. I tried for close to an hour with no success. Who has time to stand there and play with this for an hour or two? -Gun sags. Unless your gun is the right combination of weight and length, this holster will sag for you. I tried using my Walther P99 and the handle always sagged downwards making it uncomfortable both to draw as well as walk with my arms down. Also, I am a man about 5'9" and weigh around 125-130 lbs. The way the clasps were would not really accommodate me. The clasps and straps behind my shoulders would stick out since I am thin. So unless you are stocky, I don't see this being real concealable. Spend more money and get something better.

Better than expected, wanted light, versatile, nylon type that rides decent, can be adjusted easy, and no Velcro hammer strap, that's on thing that should always be a snapped deal in my book. This sets up easy, and pretty well, obviously not a custom tailor deal, but can be set pretty comfortable especially for summer/outdoor etc. can be set ambidextrous. A few threads to burn but not a lot. Don't know how well It'd go for any heavy extended period, but for casual range use or prepper/bugout stuff, stowes easy and can't see any complaint.
