KILZ TRIBUTE Paint & Primer, Interior, Semi-Gloss, Almost Sage, 1 Gallon

I just bought our first home for my 12 year old daughter and myself. A small yet cozy looking home with a exterior that was eye catching. The yard large and just perfect. It had a cute wishing well just past the driveway in front of what once was a well landscaped area with a stream and waterfall. Trying to figure out how that was set up, the new neighbors said it stopped working back in 1989. Every morning walking my daughter out to the bus id look at the wishing well, youd think it was real. Going back and trying to find any information on the house prior to buying it i came across pictures 30 years old, to my surprise the wishing well was in the same condition. HALF PAINTED!!! I was so frustrated every morning i had to walk past it and didn't understand why no one could finish simply painting it to look so much better and give the property a more attractive look. Well i went on Amazon, i do most of my shopping here since i don't drive and found a small sample size of paint that looked like the perfect match to what had been started to be painted decades ago. I never thought id buy paint, besides craft paint from Amazon!! It came in a small box and my daughter thought it was so cute the small size, i told her it was a cheap priced sample to see if it would look ok on the wishing well. She new how much it was driving me crazy not finished. Theres alot of work needed, but this was something obvious to anyone passing by and a eye sore. One morning while in my pajamas still I walked my daughter out the door and continued walking to the wishing well. The paint sample and small brush in hand i quickly began to paint before the school bus came. I had to finish and get inside before the school kids saw me dressed how I was and say stuff to my daughter. The paint was so easy to use, it covered old paint, filled cracks, was just the right thickness to use at any angle and was the perfect barn red color paint to match what was partially there. It took one quick coat to transform this wishing well into one that would make dreams come true! I will definitely get this paint again, im excited to see what other sample colors they have. For the price, the amount of paint i got and the high quality of it was very impressive. I was expecting some water downed paint that would be a waste. If larger size containers work just as well it will be the brand i use on many inside and outside things that need to be painted. Many needing a good paint to cover up the cobb jobs done over the years. One paint that will save me time and money with a finally look that will truly hide what was there before. When my daughter got home off the bus she quickly ran to the wishing well. Now that it was completely painted and dried, she was amazed that little can did that good of a job. A$4-$5.00 can of sample paint not seeing the color in person prior, but just going by thr Amazon picture was as accurate as could be. For the first time buying a exterior paint from a store besides a home improvement store, this little can changed my mind on that and opened the door to getting other similar products from Amazon and using this paint brand from now on. Another item that came super fast and impressed once again with the product, company and Amazon!

I'm so glad I took a chance! It's a beautiful color perfectly blended, easy to clean when dripped. The most important, no smell! If it had a smell I wouldn't be able to paint. I'm very happy with this paint. Perfect for my needs it's covering old stains I couldn't scrub away. It's a nice cream color called Ancestral I highly recommend

Adorable color! The sample is large enough for a medium sized project or quite a few small projects! I've used it for a small decorative ladder and I plan to use it for a mirror also.

I love this paint! Low order (a big big plus). The paint covers well. I put it on thick for my purpose. It took a good 24 hours to dry. The paint still felt a little sticky, but the second coat went on very well. I am very happy with this purchase. Great value. Plus I didn't use it right away, I used a stick to stir it up and the paint actually looked thick and smooth. It is bright but as it dries the color becomes darker. As you can see, it is still wet in this photo.

Really thick and beautiful paint. Going to need two coats but it dries fast, has no intense smell and just looks so durable and beautiful! It looks very expensive and once done is really going to make my house look so fresh!

I don't know why this product doesn't have a review yet, I love this paint and this is my 10000000th time ordering it. It's not stinky and dries quickly, I had to paint my bathroom with 0 ventilation (didn't want the pets to get in) and the scent was minimal. Coverage is great too, the previous owners left us with ugly gray walls in the bedroom, the light pink was able to cover them with one coat. I don't know what else people look for in paint but I have a sensitive nose and this one is a 10/10 for me. :)

I ordered several of these paints in different colors. They were all dry and stained. The paint was dull and flat and very light. Did not look like the paint was pictured. On one of the paints in my order, I requested a refund and the merchant would not refund because they said they never received. This is after having a receipt from UPS. Not worth the hassle of dealing with the merchant for terrible paint. Save your money and go to Lowe’s.

I do agree when you open the can it looks more white, but it definitely is a light blush pink. I’m very happy. And this picture I haven't even painted the baseboards the bright white yet! So easy to use even an inexperienced painter as I am, there was one area I was a little concerned I thought I got a little thick, but when it dried it leveled itself out and looks perfect. I’m sure one coat would’ve worked, but I always do two coats.
