Fantastic Game
I love Steins;Gate. Elite on my Switch was my first exposure to it, I loved every second of it. Elite is easily the most comprehensive version of any other S;G game, it's quite literally a fusion of the original visual novel with the art style by the artists of the S;G anime. It has more content than even the anime takes to complete sitting at about 25 hours just to see the initial story. Certain "choices" made seem mundane until you realize specific ones impact the endings. My play time is sitting at 65 hours, all tips gathered, all alternate routes completed. I 100% recommend this game for anyone into anime, fascinating stories, or interesting characters. My one gripe is SPECIFICALLY for the PlayStation 4 S;GE: the screen proportions are off. It cuts off about one letter from the text heavy game, it's very annoying. I have a standard 47" HDTV, & have attempted to find an adjustment in the game settings as well as adjusting the PS4's display ratio, to no avail. It's peculiar because the only other game I have for PS4 that does this is Danganronpa 1.2 Reload, because it's just a cheap port of the PS Vita versions (despite also being a fantastic game). I dunno if Spike Chunsoft has issues with getting ratios on PS4, but it felt worth mentioning. Even the Switch version doesn't have this issue, it looks much better on it than PlayStation. If you have a Nintendo, go with that version instead. I only really wanted the limited edition swag, so it was still worth it. ***Edit!*** I'm an idiot, I finally discovered you can change the text size & it remedies the cutoff of the text. This is a great game, so good I bought it twice lol.

A beloved classic
What can I say that hasn't already been said before? I honestly don't know, so I'll keep this brief. This game is a masterpiece and well deserving of all the praise it's gotten over the years. It's one of the best stories involving time travel that I've ever had the privilege of seeing.Sure, this new edition isn't without its drawbacks, and some would say it's inferior to the original released on PS4/PS Vita, but I really like that they reused the animation from the anime and the studio behind the anime even animated new segments for the different endings.Still though, some of the fat was trimmed, but you gotta admit, this is still a beautifully presented story.Id still recommend this everyone though. So read it and enjoy.

A wonderful "Remake" of a VN/Anime gem
As a Steins;Gate megafan, I was super happy with this. I wasn't sure how it would exactly work and if it would flow well with the original still artwork being replaced with scenes from the anime, but it works very well. Overall I am satisfied with it and am glad the PS4 version specifically came with (finally) an official English version of Linear Bounded Phenogram as well.I will say though, ONCE AGAIN Amazon's shipping protection was awful (as it always seems to be with Collector's Editions) I had preordered 2 copies of ELITE. One Limited Edition for PS4 and one Standard Edition for Switch (I wanted both preorder bonuses) anyway, I get it in the mail and Amazon literally just threw both together in a single THIN bubble envelope. No protection, NOTHING. They could have put it in a box with padding but nope, they NEVER do. So the bottom of my Limited Edition is slightly torn and the box is bent a bit, but overall the product was not demolished but still, fix your shite amazon, please?!

Not Recommended
I love the Steins;Gate anime and the original VN but this is a weird amalgamation of the two. You only get some but not all of the extra story details the VN has and you don't get the conciseness of the anime. Is it worth it to see the alternate endings animated? No. The new scenes they've animated look very cheap and poorly done compared to the scenes they took from the anime. In conclusion, what should have been the best of both worlds is a messy combination of two great things.

A great game from Science Adventure series
I love this limited edition. For someone who doesn’t normally play visual novels this one really surprised me. The science adventure series ( as it’s known in Japan) is really great. I love the storyboard art book and the cloth poster is really nice as well. I was lucky and mine had little to no damage from shipping.

Amazing version of the legendary VN
Incorporating the video from the Steins;Gate anime along with addition new animation just for this release, this is another triumph from Mages/Spb./Nitrosoft The addition bonuses of the Storyboard book, the cloth Kirusu poster (now framed and hanging on my wall) as well as the the inclusion of the magnificent VN, Steins;Gate Phenogram makes this worth much more than the purchase price.

Great game, ok limited edition
Very good game with a phenomenal story.I prefer it kept the style or an alternative mode to have it look like the original game instead of it just being gifs of the anime. But that's just me.The Limited Edition isn't all that worth it I feel. I got it for around $40 and I'd say it's worth it below $30.You do get the game and a download code for the side game "Linear Bounded Phenogram" if you purchase a new copy, but that's also in new vanilla copies. The cloth poster looks nice but it was folded so it kinda looks off to have on a wall when it's cut into rectangular chunks that are impossible to flatten. The Storyboard book is fine. I wish it was just an actual Art Book instead but you get roughly 70 pages of rough sketches all in Japanese. Front cover looks nice though.

It must be the will of Steins;Gate
Still haven't finished it yet, but pretty close to what I was expecting. The graphics are the same quality as the anime, and i enjoyed the download able content, which goes more into the relationships between Okarin and some of the other characters. Great packaging and very large concept illustration book included.
