Amazon is astounding...I ordered this about 1pm and they delivered it at 4pm! I had read all the reviews about the smell and the color and the lack of quality blah blah blah. Its a very nicely made bag of beautiful leather and it's as stiff as new leather is. It feels nice. I love the green fabric inside. There is plenty of room for my 17" laptop and accessories. I'm amazed this was less than $60! I opened it 15 minutes ago and its sitting in the other room next to my office and I can smell it, but it smells nice. It smells like leather duh! Haha. Its not a foul smell, and I'm sure it will go away with time, like a baseball glove. Its a bargain, it looks amazing, feels like quality, its not too heavy, and I'm thrilled with it.

I received this satchel very promptly. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Big and spacious to carry my work lap top, cord, small handbag and still have room. It does have a slight odor but nothing that won’t remedy itself with a few uses! I’m so excited to rock it to work tomorrow! The inner lining is of good quality and has a nice miss green color. The leather will give with use. Very happy that I ordered this and plan to use it daily! Hope this helps.

If I could give it a -1 I would. My main reason for purchasing this specific bag is because of the “vintage” look. What I received is a plain leather bag! Nothing vintage about it at all! I’m so frustrated! It will be going back ASAP.

I got this for my boss as a Christmas present, it is a rather large bag and can easily fit a 17inch heavy laptop in it, also has plenty of space for keyboards and other such goodies. Has a real leather outside and is lined with canvas inside. It did come with a bit of the smell of a barn on it (not in a bad way, but like it's been around animals) and was very well received.

It is constructed well and after 3 years of use, it looks as well as the day , I received it.

I upgraded my laptop to a Dell Inspiron with 17-in screen, so needed to upgrade my bag. This one fits the bill in every way. Sturdy. Roomy. Handsome. Good quality. Great bargain. Yes, I would buy it again. I did treat the leather with an all-purpose leather conditioner followed by a generous application of olive oil which enhanced the appearance even more. About the green canvas lining? I would be happier if it was a neutral color, but I can live with it due the overall quality of the product.

Really nice feel, the leather is not too stiff and the inner canvas is very pleasant to the touch too. I found it a little too big in the beginning, it’s quite wide if you use it for a 14” laptop, but having the extra space can come handy sometimes.

Ordered a VC Vintage Couture 18" Messenger Bag, but received a 17" Cuero Messenger Bag. The outside plastic wrap had the Vintage Couture branding listed but the product inside had product info from cuero. The Cuero bag is a sepereate listing at a much lower price. The bag itself, much more chemical smell than an average leather product, the 'olive' lining was definitely more lime green than anything, the magnet closures were covered in a thick sticky film and one did not sit flush with them bag. With a raised edge I would worry that much use would pull it off the liner. The strap didn't feel finished, rough edges and poor quality for an item that would theoretically need to receive a lot of weight and stress. The inside insert said this bag was not waterproof/resistant which is very important to know. The goat leather itself, I liked the look of. I think it would look great once it's used and aged a little. Very stiff at first, but that's expected and conditioner would probably help a lot with that. If I had meant to purchase this brand and item at their price I might have been more open to giving it a chance, but as is I am returning it and not re-ordering as I do not want to end up receiving the wrong bag again.

Gorgeous bag when you put leather lotion on it. Put it in the garage for three days for the chemical smells to dissipate and youl have a nice bag

Real leather. Weathering and holding up well. Simple, understated design. I use this daily for work, and expect to keep using everyday until I retire (if I ever get to that is).

This is very roomy, with lots of sections to separate your stuff. Love the colour and the quality of workmanship. One thing I didn't consider when purchasing was the weight of the bag itself, so just be warned its a bit heavy to carry when its got lots of stuff inside! A gorgeous bag. Thank you!

Super produit. Je suis impressionnée. Je l’échange parce que j’en souhaite un plus petit (de la même compagnie! Ça vous dit ma satisfaction. Sinon je l’aurais conservé.) Le cuir est de qualité. Plus rigide que ce que la photo laisse voir, mais s’assouplirait facilement. La doublure est uniforme, les coutures doubles. Belle facture. Je recommande. Un portable 17’’ y entre, même un 18’’.

Le sac lui même est bien. Mais il se dégage une odeur tellement chimique , qui n’est pas une odeur de cuir …. je suis incapable de le garder. Je le retourne.
