XY Fancy 2018 Halloween Party Costumes

First off, let me say that the most disappointing issue was shipping. I paid the price of the mask for expedited shipping so that it made it by halloween, and it still wasn't on time.Back to the product itself, it's great.Quality: There is a really nice structure to the mask and it gives it a high quality look, unlike the thin wrinkly masks with two jagged holes for eyes.The material is a pretty cool leather alternative, and was surprisngly light and stretchy so it fits comfortably. It seems like a sealed foam of some sort, but don't let that turn you away. This probably feels more comfortable than it would if it were made of real leather (weight, rigidity, etc)The head band at the back was sturdy and surprisngly easy to use while fixing the mask to my head. Lots of adjustability.The color: I notice now that the pictures on amazon are a bit exaggerated compared to the color contrast of my own. Mine is quite a bit darker and the rivets are more like bronze, not brass. I wasn't bothered too much by this, but if you're going for a super colorful steampunk look, be aware the color may vary.Eyes: The eyepieces are plastic, but didn't scratch for me. It's surprisingly easy to see forward, but as you might expect your peripheral vision is gone.Breathability: the grommets on the bottom of the beak really help, and I only started having fogging up issues after wearing the costume a few hours in a heated office and at a farmer's market on a warm day.Durability: I had no issues with the mask breaking or ripping on me, even when people grabbed the beaked and pulled on it. The headstrap is still perfectly fine.At the price of around $40, this is the best buy on amazon for a plague doctor mask. If you order late, beware of the shipping...

Amazing quality mask! Perfect for when I will be playing my Plague Doctor character. It also has enough room if I want to go for historical accuracy and put some herbs or flowers or anything I want to keep the black death away from me breathing it in. The holes in the mask also help and it doesn't fog up when I have it on for a long time. The material is really sturdy and nice too.

Biggest problem was shipping, however it is a great mask and my child loved it! Exactly what we were looking for! It is a perfect plague doctor mask.

It looks fancy and cool in pictures, but you're far better off buying the original design for an extra $$. I don't recommend this product!I've contacted the seller, in regards to delay issues and they offered to refund some fee $$, that was a nice move, but the whole deal felt shady!Peace!
