Very sturdy and durable so far. Havent gotten much rain yet, but waterproof so far!
I was very impressed with the sturdiness of the product. Using it was very simple and fool-proof. So far I'd give it a 5 stars. My only slight concern is that the clamps that hold it shut are made of the same plastic the box is rather than a hinge. So it's all one piece that wears out as it bends back and forth, and I'm sure would be the first thing to fail. It's pretty sturdy though, so unless you're taking this on and off, it will hold up a very long time. If you're looking for something that needs to be taken on and off regularly, I might try to find something else with a hinge style clamp/lock. Otherwise, I'd recommend this 100%

Great stuff
These hold up really well. I attached one of these on the tounge of my trailer. Then ran an extension cord inside the trailer. Now to get power inside is to plug an extension cord to the extension cord in the trailer, and put the connection inside this box.

I bought more
These seal out the elements super well. I’m using them to enclose brass speaker banana plugs and Ethernet Cat-5 connectors after I’ve pulled seaside equipment in at season-end, as well as 14-3 extension cords connecting utility drain pumps that stay out in the elements during off-season. The first year I did this winterizing I used box-like products that held more connectors, but didn’t seal as well as these. So the second year I tried these, and they worked awesome; whereas I had some water entry, & rust from the boxes, my connectors came out exactly as they went in after using these covers. So I bought more for use shutting things down this season. Recommended.

Waterproof
This product holds up to the biggest downpours in the soggy Pacific Northwest. The only reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars are: 1) the label does not come off cleanly (see pic), and 2) the flip clasps get hard to open and close when it's cold. Definitely the best solution I've found for holiday lights.

Actually watertight
Close tightly on even smaller cords and rubber gaskets make good seals. Confident these will remain waterproof.

Great for protecting shorts in Christmas light connections
I use these along with the minis to protect larger connections between extension cords on the ground. They are watertight and prevent shorting if it rains or if the sprinklers run.

This works for me
My cords are a bit big and I'll have to modify the rubber seals fit around the cords to seal the ends, but this will work for me. It snaps closed and really holds. Pleased with this item.

Great cord protectors!
Second time purchasing these covers. I needed extras after adding more xmas lights. My cords will generally see a lot of inclement weather and get buried in snow. These units seal great and I've never had a problem. They make a very nice positive clamp with the three latches and feel pretty robust. Recommended.
