Good Find
I had spent a considerable amount more on this copy as it was labeled “collectible”. I had all of the D&D Guides as a kid and unfortunately lost them all to a flood. I bought this copy to give to my oldest son as a Christmas gift since he is very much into the adventure role-playing universe of games. The book was shipped in a timely manner and the cover, back and spine are impressively intact for its age. The inside of the cover had a name and address unscripted in pencil and ink. It didn’t bother me. It brought me back to 1979 where I could see myself writing my own name to make sure people knew it was my book! The rest of the book shows some aging and a couple pages had rusted paperclips where the original owner wanted to mark their importance. I gently removed the paperclips and saw no further markings. Overall, I am satisfied with the condition of the book. Had it been in pristine condition, I could see it being priced significantly more, but as a 1979 survivor, it’s a very good find.

Must-have for old school players.
This book reminds me of a really fun time in my early teens when I was big into AD&D. Back when a -5 armor class was a good thing lol. I don’t play anymore but had to buy this for nostalgic reasons. Along with the Players Handbook and Monster Manual. :)
