Riesen Chocolate Caramel Candies, 30 Oz Bag

These are awesome candies. They should come with a warning label they're so good. Caramel is a perfect chewy density and the chocolate coating is spot on.

NOTHING SHOULD TASTE THIS GOOD... AND SO FRESH... HONESTLY I THOUGHT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN MELTED BUT THEY CAME PERFECT. I HAD A FEW AND HAD TO GIVE THEM WAY OR I WOULD HAVE EATEN THE ENTIRE BAG IN A DAY... "NO CONTROL WHEN ITS THIS YUMMY" LOL SO YUMMY

These candies all have a white cast that shows they have not been stored well. The taste and texture of the chocolate coating is altered because it has been melted or partially melted. These do not taste like Riesen at this point. The price seemed good until I saw what I was getting!

Wish I didn't like these so much. I could eat a bag in one sitting if I was depressed. Try to limit myself to one after dinner, but I've been known to sneak one or two in the middle of the day.

My favorite Quick energy producer for long hikes, etc.

I received them quickly. The box was in great shape. However, both bags had been exposed to a temperature extreme, probably cold. The dark chocolate coating was a light color. My online research says temperature extremes cause chocolate to turn white. It tasted okay but not as good as those not affected this way.

I realize that chocolate that has turned white is edible but is not appetizing. Every toffee was white.
