It's ALL in review! Id give 10 stars if pos! look @pic of me @wrk(in a hot factory)@break.
Ever since I got this in my ipsy bag about 6mos ago I've been in love!! I threw out all my liquid foundation, my pressed powder etc...this powder foundation is amazing! It literally is just like brushing on a 2nd layer of skin. It's not cakey like foundation n it's not powdery looking like powder, it's the perfect balance of buildable coverage, if u have certain things u want covered then trust me this will do it but if u just want a natural "better" version of ur own skin then this is THAT! I can't even explain how it does it but it goes on so easy with a makeup brush n is matte enough to look like actual skin but also has this kind of highlight in it to where it looks like real skin as well. Everybody knows that nobody has skin that is 100% matte naturally cuz we have pores n we naturally will glow in certain areas etc..AND everybody knows that nobody has naturally super luminous skin where your just shiny everywhere all the time so if u dnt have time for instance one morning, to do ur highlight...ur all good w this compact alone! U will still look NATURALLY glowing! Me, myself love a strong highlight so I always do a bit of contour n then a snatched highlight above my cheekbones, my cupids bow above my lip, n down the center line of my nose n then use left over on brush to swipe along my temples, arch of eyebrows n top of forehead but I have woken up late 4 wrk sum mornings n took my 2mins to brush on a light layer of this n been extremely happy walking out the door cuz I looked like I just woke up n left but BETTER! nobody could tell I had ANY makeup on, just super healthy, good, skin that had a natural glow. Or 4 the days u dnt want 2b "done up" n dnt feel like doing a full makeup face...just using this compact, shaping ur brows, a lil mascara n sum tinted lip balm n u will look amazing. I swear I will praise n preach about this product FOREVER n TO whoever will listen bcuz its THAT damn good! Just pick the shade that's as close to ur skin color as possible n ur good to go! Btw, that's another thing about it...it magically finds a way to match ur real skin color even if u dnt get the exact color u needed! Of course if ur like a fair/light and u buy a deep tan u already no thats NOT going to happen on any level(or any planet lol) but if ur just a shade or 2 off it will work itself out. It never looks fake, it's so natural that's y I love it as well cuz I tan alot n there's been times I stop tanning for a month or so n I was able to still use the same compact after I had faded ALOT n it never looked bad, it somehow blended itself n I used a big fluffy brush to brush some down my neck a bit(which I do everyday anyway) n it never looked like I had a dark face n light skin at all! It looked like at most, I had a lil bronzer on or had a tad bit of sun on my face but blended seamlessly in with the rest of my body. So anyways yeah!! This product is life!! I also use other laura Gellar products now like her lip scrub lipstick which is all natural n wrks beautifully in getting old dead skin cells n anything else off ur lips b4 u apply ur lip product of choice n ur lips look 100 times better! But yea Laura Gellar baked balance powder foundation ALL THE WAY! I promise u will get rid of all other face products u thought u needed b4!! (Aside from ur blush/bronzer and highlighter if u use those things)

Great powder foundation for mature skin
Love the silky feel and it’s not cakie feeling on your face like liquid foundations. It feels light and airy like you’ve got nothing on. Really good coverage for evening out my skin and I’m 52 so it helps in multiple ways. Really impressed with the feel, coverage, price and shipping speed. Will definitely purchase again when I start to run low. That’s the other great thing about this powder foundation is that it doesn’t take a lot to cover and look great compared to bare minerals so it’ll last longer.

As good as bare minerals
Make sure you get the right color for your skin don’t get lighter . It does a good job covering and making you look younger . I’m 55 and this brightened my face back into my 40’s. I use a big blush brush make circles in the pallet then apply circular strokes . You can wear foundation under or put her primer on underneath ( I do both ) looks amazing after ! Watch for sale prices it’s pricey . Amazon has a 50$ starter set as well . Lady’s a few hours . Watch out if you have sensitive skin though . Wash your face thoroughly before applying anything.

Easy to apply, use the kabuki brush
It is more than a powder. It feels light, looks natural, way better either way a matte even finish. Nothing has been working on my 65 year old skin. I lightly put on, build up in trouble areas that need more coverage. It goes on like powder. I use mineral water spray to set, and the finish is as near flawless that I can get. Initially it sets in my pores and lines but the mineral spray helps it to turn into a smooth appearance. I’ve noticed in warm weather the make up will naturally blend from the warmth of your skin. In the dry winter, the spray has helped. The make up stays put, even during workouts. The make up holds without streaking from sweat or tears. Once on Its weightless and light, and skin looks smooth, color even. No stickiness, it’s matte finish.

Mature women! This works!!!!!
Mature ladies! THIS WORKS! I know it flies in the face of reason using a powder as foundation, but this product is amazing! I've tried countless foundations (I'm not even kidding) and as a last resort, I decided to give this a try. Good bye to the to the frustration of purchasing makeup modeled by the youngsters that never worked. I'm very light skinned, so I went with "fair" which was too dark, (white neck) but the color and finish was glowy and gorgeous. So I ordered a "porcelains " shade, do one swipe with fair, one with porcelain, then apply. Perfect. This doesn't catch too much in fine lines and wrinkles, just a bit. Not a problem considering the terrible pore enhancing, show EVERY FLAW foundations I've tried Liquid foundations that claimed the opposite. I just go over the wisdom lines (♥️) with a qtip after powder has set a few minutes. Also crazy considering I'm applying powder foundation, I used a primer product called blur by Milani because it was recommended by a mature woman in a make up tutorial. I cannot believe it, but it works, but never worked with liquids! I just ordered Laura Geller primer and received it yesterday, I can't wait to try! I'll do an update. The little extra challenge is ...layering. Another crazy making challenge . Too much and everything piles and is terrible. But yep, that works too! Hoping this helps my mature sisters so I'm giving you the keys. 1. Wash face 2. Vitamin C drops by The Ordinary 3. Apply moisturizer (this is the tricky part because as with foundation, I've been through countless products. I use Eucerin cream!! 4. Apply La roche sunscreen I let this set for at least 20 minutes while I'm having coffee. 5. Apply primer, wait 2 minutes (use a flat brush if you have one) 6. Get busy with my baked powder. Sooooo, wonderful!! The eyeshadows are just as gorgeous, only slightly catches in wisdom lines (dab with qtip). Blush and contour heavily pigmented (last forever) so application brush shape and blender buffs very important. If you can spring for the fancy brushes, great. If not, Elf brushes are dirt cheap and do pretty good, just apply lightly because you can add more, not really take off. This stuff stays put! I hope this helps! I'm 61, glowing with smooth makeup and thrilled!

Great, cover, soft, lightweight, good quality
Fine and I’ve only ever used Pharmacy makeup. This stuff is amazing. I really like it. It’s weightless feels almost like I have nothing on and really does give me such a nice lightweight natural look no trouble with my oiliness and it conceals my butterfly rash, I have an autoimmune diagnosis.

Makes your skin tone a little more even.
Good product, just have to be sure to order a color that is lighter than what you normally wear because it has a tendency to be a little orange.

Remember the book the Emperor’s New Clothes?
Remember the book the Emperor’s New Clothes?! Well, that is me trying to use this product. After seeing a bajillion ads on Facebook, I decided to give it a try. I even purchased the application brush at the same time. First application, I swirled the brush around and then on my face and nothing. I thought, well it is light coverage. It seemed too light. I rubbed my finger over the surface and nothing transferred to my finger. Hmmm. Did some research and saw that you might have to rub paper towel over to “break the seal”. Did that and the product did transfer onto the brush. I was very surprised at just how light the coverage was. I continued to try to use the product for days with such light coverage only to realize that the coverage was so light because the product was not transferring to the brush. In other words, I was running my application brush on the product and nothing was coming off onto the brush. I discovered that if I rub paper towel over the surface, I get enough product to transfer onto the brush for only one good brush application onto my face. In other words, the only way I can get this product to work is to rub paper towel over the surface each and every time I go from my face to the product. I have to rub paper towel over the surface of the product like five times to get enough product onto my face for one day. Being shocked at all the reviews and thinking I was doing something wrong I tried different application brushes thinking the Laura Geller one was just too soft. Nope, same results. I think I would like the product if I could just get it to transfer properly onto the brush. The thought of having to constantly rub paper towel over the surface and wasting product onto a paper towel is just a no go for me.
