I’m just getting into RC planes, and this Spitfire made the learning curve smooth. It came ready to fly, and the 6 axis gyro really helps keep it steady, even when I oversteer. The 3 channel controls are simple to pick up, and the warbird design gives it a cool vintage vibe. Took off and landed without drama. Great for beginners, and it feels like a solid step into the RC world. It”s a good value for the money

I’m not joking when I say this is the worst RC plane ever, I’ve been flying RC planes for over 2 years, I ordered this for the reviews. I flew it for around 3 minutes when without any wind or any incorrect inputs, it nosed dived uncontrollably and then quite literally blew up and combusted. Later found out that the elevators failed. Not flyable after as you can see in the picture.

While this Spitfire Fighter RC plane is enjoyable to fly, there are a few drawbacks that hold it back. One of the biggest issues is the battery life, which isn’t great and cuts flight time shorter than expected. Additionally, despite being marketed as a beginner-friendly plane, the control responsiveness is a bit outside what I’d consider truly easy to handle—meaning new pilots may struggle more than they should. For the price, I find it hard to fully justify the purchase. While it does have some cool warbird aesthetics and a built-in gyro stabilizer, the combination of limited battery life, control difficulty, and cost makes it feel like there are better options available for those looking to get into RC planes. That said, if you’re experienced and looking for a Spitfire-themed RC plane, it might still be worth considering. But for beginners, I’d recommend looking into more forgiving and budget-friendly alternatives before committing to this one.

I've been wanting to fly an R/C plane ever since I was a child, so to finally have the chance to do so is a dream come true. I have to give it up to HAWK'S WORK for providing me w/this opportunity. This plane not only looks cool, but delivers on all of my expectionations. I've flown planes in video games, but never could imagine how it would feel to be outside, in the rain (and freezing cold) while flying a RC plane. I took this plane flying for the first time today, and it was better than I could have imagined. First I want to address what happened prior to flying it. I had to attach its wheels (that don't require glue, but unfortunately wasn't addressed in the included instructions). While attaching them isn't complicated it makes a difference to have guidance, or provided in that area. So, I referenced a video & picture of how to attach them (and how the plane should look after this), that I found one of their Amazon product pages. Then I charged the 2 (included) rechargable batteries for the plane, before placing one inside of the plane. And added 4 AA batteries (not included) to the remote. After this I carefully packed everything up, and drove over to a baseball field (that a friend suggested) near me. My first few attempts at taking off from the ground were terrible. I was successful at getting (and keeping) it in the air once I started launching it from my hand instead. It was a bit nerve wrecking at first, because I wanted to make sure I didn't accidently fly over the field's fencing (and crash into the street that cars were actively driving through). Thankfully all of my crashes happened in the field. I can tell you outright that this is sturdy. It may be foam, but it's not just any old piece of styrafoam. It took all of my crashes like a champ w/no noticeable damage whatsoever. And the light rain hitting its body didn't damage the paint job, or compromise the structural intergrity either. Once I started getting the hang of flying it I had feeling come over me like no other. There's truly no feeling in the world like flying. This R/C plane is the real deal. This company really did its customers a solid by including 2 plane batteries. I ended up using both while flying today. Having 2 really made a big difference in having fun w/it. Lastly, maintenance is a breeze. All I had to do was use a dry (and slightly damp) microfiber cloth when I got home to wipe off any dirt from time out w/it. And it looks good as new. Be aware that there is a learning curve for those unfamilair w/piloting or operating RC aircraft, but anyone who reads the instructions (and takes their time gradully training in a large safe area) should be fine. I highly recommend this plane, and HAWK'S WORK'S products in general. You won't be disappointed.

An excellent product! I got this for a beginner flyer (8 years old) and the remote control is perfect for learning. It flies smoothly and handles wind surprisingly well for its size. It has also survived a couple of 'rough landings' on the grass with minimal damage (one broken prop, spares supplied and more readily available online). Highly recommended for kids or anyone wanting to start flying RC.

Ottimo per principianti come noi ☺️ ho ragalato questo aereo a mio figlio per il compleanno e devo dire che l'ho trovato divertente e facile da utilizzare, con giroscopio che lo stabilizza in orizzontale dopo una manovra, ovviamente non adatto per acrobazie o cose del genere! Tra l'altro abbiamo testato anche la resistenza agli urti, visto che ci siamo schiantati tre /quattro volte su alberi o terreni non proprio morbidi! Nessun danno! Unico neo, ma non mi cambia la valutazione, la batteria dura poco ma all'interno ce ne sono due in assortimento, nel complesso si riesce a fare una sessione di volo soddisfacente😅 Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.. In conclusione, per me è un ottimo acquisto 👍

Pronto llegará ese momento tan codiciado de la jubilación y estoy en el momento de probar todo tipo de hobbies, para ver cuáles son los que capturan mi tiempo. Desde pequeño le tenía ganas a los aviones a control remoto y ahora he tenido ocasión de probar uno, aunque no tengo experiencia en volar este tipo de aparatos, así que me viene bien que sea un avión de gama de entrada. El producto evaluado es un avión de radio control de marca HAWK'S WORK, modelo EXA762, de 3 canales que simula un caza spitfire aliado de la segunda guerra mundial. Están las piezas principales montadas y listo para volar. Usa comunicación por radio frecuencia de 2.4 GHz con alcance de 120 metros e implementa un estabilizador de vuelo giroscópico de 6 ejes, por lo que es muy fácil de manejar. Está equipado con 2 motores escobillados y lleva 2 baterías recargables de 400mAh/3.7V (1.48Wh), para una autonomía acumulada de 40 minutos de vuelo (20 minutos por batería). El avión tiene peso pluma con unos escasos 57.3 gramos. ¿Es recomendable? SI. Si quieres pasar un rato divertido tú solo o con los críos. Es un buen avión a control remoto, de gama de entrada, así que no sufrirás mucho si se lleva un buen golpe. Además, es fácil de volar y sirve perfectamente a principiantes y niños, que, si les gusta, se convertirán en expertos en seguida. NO. Si buscas algo más profesional o mucha velocidad. Si quieres hacer grabaciones desde el aire, busca un dron. NO. Si quieres hacer acrobacias aéreas o buscas motores de gasolina, que los hay para este tipo de aviones de RC. Experiencia de uso: La primera impresión es muy buena. La caja con fotos de los distintos modelos de la serie es muy atractiva y promete. Al abrirlo, la cosa cambia, ya que el embalaje es penoso. Sí que protege bien el avión, con un buen volumen de espuma, pero está diseñado de forma que si lo abres por un lado se puede caer el avión por el otro lado y, si lo abres a la inversa, lo sé que se cae son las piezas sueltas, que son las ruedas, la batería de repuesto, etcétera. De hecho, la primera vez que lo abrí, se perdió una de las ruedas pequeñas del eje central trasero y tarde unos días en encontrarla. Tocará buscarle una caja decente. El cuadro de mando remoto es bastante ligero y muy, muy sencillito. Se ve de una calidad de materiales plásticos mediocre, pero cumple la función. Necesita cuatro pilas de tipo AA/LR6, que no incluye el paquete. El aspecto del avión en sí emula al caza Spitfire de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, aunque de pequeño he visto maquetas mucho más logradas. Habrá que tunearlo en cuanto se pueda. Es bastante básico y no es una buena imitación, aunque no es el objeto de juguete, ya que se trata de un avión de radiocontrol. El aspecto del avión es sólido, fabricado con espuma EPP (polipropileno expandido) duradera y ligera, que puede soportar vuelos al aire libre sin sufrir daños por golpes y caídas. Y le he dado unas cuantas, que acabo de empezar en esto del RC. El avión está equipado con 2 motores de escobillas de gran alcance y se puede cambiar entre dos velocidades. Viene con 2 baterías recargables, batería de 400 mAh, una ya instalada en el avión. También lleva varias aspas de repuesto, el tren de aterrizaje de rueda doble y la rueda del eje trasero. En una primera prueba de vuelo sin conocimientos previos, se ve que funciona bastante bien y que puede ser muy divertido. No ha sucumbido a un par de golpes tontos y malos aterrizajes. A ver quién es el guapo que lo coge al vuelo. Tenía previsto un viaje al campo para hacer una grabación en video en condiciones del vuelo, ya con un poquito de más de práctica y conocimientos, pero me cayó el diluvio universal, así que lo he tenido que aplazar hasta mejor ocasión y ya veremos si podré actualizar la reseña con un vídeo decente. Nota técnica: La espuma EPP (polipropileno expandido) tiene excelentes propiedades de absorción de energía, alta resistencia al impacto y buenas propiedades aislantes. También es ligera, duradera y resistente a la humedad, los productos químicos y la radiación UV (exposición a la luz solar). Es perfecto para aviones de radio control. Consejos de uso: - Si eres principiante, recomiendo ver algún video sobre vuelos con RC antes de tu primera salida. - No busques la segunda batería en la caja, está ya montada en el avión. Puntos fuertes: - El manejo más simple posible con la estabilización automática. - Estructura reforzada con tiras de fibra de carbono. - Los 2 modos de despegue (lanzamiento impulsado manual y despegue en pista). - Sistema de nivelación de vuelo con giróscopo de 6 ejes. - Garantía de 1 año para el avión y de 3 meses para la batería. Puntos débiles: - El empaquetado protege bien el avión, pero no está bien diseñado, así que toca buscar otro medio de transporte. - Es un modelo bastante básico, pero perfecto para principiantes. - Solo lleva instrucciones en inglés, pero el vendedor indica que si contactas por email pueden facilitar una traducción, supongo que en formato PDF o ePUB. - Ten cuidado, que la experiencia puede crear adicción.
