My Preferred Cologne is an Aftershave.
I love this aftershave but I don’t use it as aftershave. I regularly use Clubman Pinaud as cologne, and applied sparingly as the scent is quite strong. Used in this way, this bottle will last an untold length of time. The scent is in the style of Old Spice with sharp citrus, warm musk, and earthy undertones. It boasts imported essence from France blended in the USA. It does contain alcohol and is very flammable. I do not recommend splashing this. Actually, I apply it allowing only the liquid that contacts my skin when the bottle’s mouth is pressed against my skin and draw a short line of less than an inch. Just both wrists and each side of my neckline. Trust me the scent is quite strong.

Brings back memories
Does what it’s supposed to do. Alcohol sanitizes and smells like barbershop

Don’t Underestimate And Pass On This Aftershave
I wasn’t sure about this aftershave at first but after a few times using it I’m hooked. It’s a throwback product, something from the days of the neighborhood barbershop, a clean fresh but kind of spicy scent. There’s the slightest burn when using after shaving, not uncomfortable at all, but I also find myself using it after just washing my face or after a shower, it’s invigorating. The only drawback may be that the scent doesn’t last very long but that’s simply the nature of aftershaves. The quantity is really good for the price, it’ll last a good while, and it’s a very fair price especially for what I consider a quality product.

The “Real One” Aftershave That Still Hits After All These Years
Look—this isn't your fancy boutique balm with activated charcoal and vegan mango butter. This is old-school, green-bottle masculinity. You slap this on after a fresh shave and instantly feel like a man who owns a straight razor, a leather strop, and probably a fedora he actually pulls off. The scent? Barbershop in a bottle. It’s got that powdery-fresh, citrus-meets-talc vibe, and it lingers just enough to get noticed without being overbearing. My wife calls it “clean and confident.” Peighton says it smells like “dad being awesome.” I’ll take both. The burn? Oh yeah. It stings. But in the good way. That clean, wake-you-up slap that lets you know your face is sanitized, sealed, and ready to conquer the day. Why It’s a Favorite: Timeless scent that works in any season, any decade Instant refresh after a shave—tightens pores and cools the skin Doubles as a post-workout splash, cologne, or mood boost Massive bottle lasts forever—like… literal years if you’re not careless What I Love: Authentic barbershop energy—you feel sharper just wearing it Dries clean—no greasy residue or sticky finish Incredibly affordable for how long it lasts Gets compliments way more often than colognes 4x the price What Could Be Better (but honestly, who cares?): Plastic bottle is classic but could use a pour spout—it comes out fast Might be too bold for super sensitive noses at first sniff Not for the fancy-product crowd—but that’s their loss TL;DR: Clubman Pinaud is the OG aftershave that’s stayed legendary for a reason. It’s bold, clean, masculine, and unapologetically classic. If it’s your fave—you’ve got taste, my friend. You don’t need to chase trends when you’ve already got the real thing. Shave. Splash. Swagger. Repeat. I wish I could give it 10 stars

Timeless and Classic yet Fresh and Contemporary as well...
...and this distinctive floral fragrance conjures up pleasant memories of being a very curious budding teen trying to leap into adulthood so I'd watch my father's every move as he methodically went through the process of his daily early morning wet-shave ritual. I remember that it seemed to take him forever to shave his face and neck, and every time starting with methodically prepping, brushing and lathering and then finally carefully shaving and that was followed by a meticulous cleaning of his prized DE razor, along with the lathering cup and brush. He would then look at himself in the mirror while stroking his cheeks and neck to check for any missed spots while reaching for the clear glass bottle of Ed Pinaud's CLUBMAN AFTER SHAVE LOTION and proceeded to splash this on and douse his face, neck and chest with a few healthy handfuls of the stuff. The beautiful and potent fragrance would fill our olfactory senses with a ramp up base of complex citrus that started with stronger notes of Citral and Citronellol but balanced with definite hints of the tart Limonene along with a dry note of Geraniol. The middle was pretty much strong notes of the increasingly ubiquitous Hydroxycitronellal that was tamed to some degree with semi-sweet notes of Linalool but then interestingly roughed up again with the decidedly heady presence of Oak Moss Extract. The dry-down was the moderately spicy...almost pine fir like...Evernia Prunastri and an earthy but soft Treemoss Extract with subtle hints of Evernia Furfuracea. I would leave that bathroom after some of it landed on me and I'd smell just like father's aftershave all day long in school...and I absolutely loved it. I reveled in it then and deeply cherish the memory today. So imagine my shear delight when I recently rediscovered this classic product...I purchased the larger 12oz size bottle, which looks almost exactly like the bottle from 40+ years ago except now it's a shatter-proof plastic instead of the thicker glass bottle it used to be packaged in. Oh well, it probably keeps costs down and is more safety-conscious in today's world. But the real test was what was inside that bottle...did the juice look the same with its trademark familiar light golden color? YES...the color and overall look is exactly the same as I remember it from 40+ years ago. So far, so good. Did it feel the same with its silky smooth texture along with its unique ability to cool and exhilarate while soothing tender skin? Well, ALMOST...it seems to be a bit lighter-bodied now with hardly any cooling ability, though it is still quite soothing and refreshing. And most importantly, did it smell the same with it's citrus and floral overtones working nicely with a heady presence of Oak Moss and Citronellol and ending with a softer, almost powdery scent? Sadly, NO...it did NOT. Though it remains true to its vintage roots and long history, It is now a shadow of its former self, sidelined by a notable lack of balanced pungency...its now WAY too Hydroxycitronellal heavy with very little essence of tree moss and virtually zero Evernia Prunastri. So while it's basically the same, it's really not if you splashed in this juice 40+ years ago like I did. It's a perfectly acceptable and wearable "old school" type of scent that's ideal for running weekend errands, poring over subpoenaed tax records or wolfing down a casual mid-afternoon lunch with a current or former lover, but do NOT expect to get the same product formulation as 40+ years ago...it's now a MUCH different, but still very recognizable after shave to that of the original. And I still LOVE IT.

Nice scent.
I was searching for something new. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It smells akin to Old Spice but a bit different. I like it and a little goes a long way. The bottle should last a long time. My daughter asked if I was using something new? She said she thought it smelled great.

Great product
This is a great old school barber shop product that is impossible to find locally.

Bought this as it reminds me of the Barbershop My Godfather used to take me to when I was a kid. I'd get a Haircut, a sweet treat as a bribe and a bike ride on an old school British Cruiser. It was the best time of my life. The Fragrance and cooling effect of this takes me back in time. Will always have a bottle of this and Skin Bracer too in my Shaving Drawer. Top Notch Stuff as always from Clubman P.

Excellent for the price, feels good when you splash on. Doesn't last a great deal of time, maybe 2 or 3 hours but it's not meant to be a proper fragrance. I do find it lingers and occasionally in the day you will get a whiff now and then. Very pleasant, old school smell, not over powering and can't see anyone would find it unpleasant.

This aftershave is one of the classic "old school" aftershaves. Not for everyone, it is a very manly fragrance more suited to the older gent who still wet shaves with a safety razor. Very bracing on the face after a fresh shave. Evokes memories of the old days' Saturday morning barbershop where the men gathered to talk footy and horse racing.

Excellent product. Good value, and a reasonable size bottle that should last a while. I love the smell, it's a classic barber shop smell that brings back memories, and importantly is a hit with my wife. I'd highly recommend it. I recommend starting with a smaller amount as the smell is on the stronger side and does seem to last a while.

Comprei um nos Estados Unidos e ao comparar com este novo sinto que a fragrância está mais fraca e menos aromática. O fixador também estancais fraco na minha opinião
