The shoes arrived within less than a week, which was great. I got the pair in black size "Big Kid 4 M". Normally I'm a US womens size 5 and a US kids size 3 (I'm petite) but I ordered a size larger because I wanted to avoid having too-tight shoes that dug into my Achilles tendon. I'm happy with the pair, there are 2 strings right at the front that can be pulled to tighten the mouth of the shoe for a better fit. However, the color of the actual split soles I got were an off-white rather than black but I don't mind that. As soon as these start wearing down, I'd definitely come back and buy another.

Dont know if was my daughters fault or not, but the string fell out of the hole first time. Took a while to push it back around the perimeter of the shoe. When you get them, tie knots in the ends right away so they wont fit back thru the hole.

I purchased these for my daughter's play at school and they were absolutely wonderful! She wears a size 5.5 (U.S) and they were a perfect fit! Her feet never hurt and they kept her from slipping during all of the dancing and movement on stage. We ordered the red slippers. The color was perfect and they were made very well. Excellent purchase.
