these things work a treat. We recently had to use these in a recording studio that was getting water from the shops above coming through the ceilings and damaging their Acoustic panels. We installed this to divert the water into a bucket until we could make a repair above. They are a little bit expensive and can be bought cheaper, but you know they will arrive if you order them from Amazon.

Great product for leaks, especially when you can not get to them until the weather is warmer.
