Addictive
The order arrived on time and in perfect condition. Whose still playing PVsZ 1 in 2020 I hear you ask. Well this is an old game but a goodie. I had played it a good few years back and fancied another shot at the zombies. There have since been several new games in the series but this is the original version that started it all. It uses 2 D graphics so it feels less like playing a computer and more like playing chess. But the best game concepts don't need exquisite graphics to serve thrills and the popularity of PVsZ illustrates that. First time round I never bothered to finish it this time I completed it easily within two days. A treat is that you can unlock lots of mini games as you go along and also buy lots of items from the shop which add interest above and beyond the main adventure game. Game play couldn't be easier and it doesn't require much effort to play. I only wish there were more levels

Ridiculously addictive game
I do not normally stay up to 4am playing computer games, especially when I've to go to work the following morning but that's what happened the day I got this game! The premise is pretty weird, a whole horde of Zombies is attacking your house and your defence is to plant plants in your garden to protect yourself!Basically a 'tower defence style' strategy game (you build an economy and defences to fend off ever increasing levels of opponent attacks) PvZ somehow manages to be better than the countless offerings on the web.The graphics aren't spectacular but they're certainly 'good enough' the music is pleasant enough (and can be turned off). Each level takes about 5 or 10 minutes to play at the end of which you usually get a new type of plant to add to your arsenal and you find yourself thinking 'just one more level'.The game has 50 levels in all (10 front garden by day, 10 front garden by night, 10 back garden by day, 10 back garden by night, 10 on the roof) but it also has stand-alone challenge games, puzzles and survival games.Once you've completed all 50 main levels you're certainly not finished and there is always the opportunity to play the game again trying different combinations of plants.A whole host of different zombie types (about 20) keep the game varied too.

Excellent netbook game but not if you want a challenge
This is great fun but pretty easy. All you need to know is what zombies are attacking and choose the relevant equipment beforehand. Every mission follows the same routine as well so it can get somewhat repetitive. However it is still great fun in bursts and will no doubt remain on your netbook for a long long time.

Zombie addiction
I have had this game for a couple of months but only really started playing it in the last 2-3 weeks. I am seriously addicted and now my 15 year old daughter is too. It sounds crazy but you kill zombies with the various plants in your arsenal and unlock other features as you get further into the game. Wastes hours of your life but is quite funny and well worth the few pounds it costs to buy. One of the better games of this sort - and I have tried many!!!

The game
I ordered this product as I have seen this game played by someone else and wanted it. Don't usually buy games, but this game had a lot more of interest to me than the usual games available these days..
