erdict: A thoughtfully designed desk lamp with a tilting head, intuitive knob controls, and both brightness & color-temperature adjustment. It looks clean on the desk, feels solid, and delivers task lighting that’s easy on the eyes. The USB charging output is modest, and I wish the power input were USB-C, but overall the value is excellent. Setup & First Impressions Unboxing was painless: no fiddly parts, no confusing steps. The base and head feel sturdier than I expected at this price. The finish is clean, with no sharp edges or misalignments, and the footprint is compact enough that it doesn’t crowd my keyboard or notebook. Design & Build This lamp embraces a minimalist aesthetic—simple lines, a tidy base, and an understated profile that blends into a modern workspace. The tilting lamp head is the star: you can angle the beam precisely where you need it—over a notebook, across the keyboard, or off to the side to avoid monitor glare. The hinge has consistent tension, so it holds position without drooping. Controls & Everyday Use The knob-based control is a pleasure. Rotate to fine-tune brightness from a comfortable low glow to a crisp task level; press once to turn on, and press-and-hold to turn off. It’s fast, tactile, and more precise than cycling through fixed steps. I can move from late-night reading (warmer, dimmer) to color-accurate spreadsheet or photo work (cooler, brighter) in seconds. Light Quality & Adjustability Brightness is more than adequate for a standard desk setup, and the color temperature adjustment (warm to cool) lets you match the light to the task and time of day. Warm settings reduce eye fatigue in the evening; cooler settings help with focus during daytime work. The beam is even, with minimal hot spots, and the tilt lets me avoid direct reflections on glossy displays. Stability & Noise The lamp feels solid and squeak-free. No rattles when I reposition it, no coil whine at higher brightness, and the base stays put when I adjust the head. It’s quiet, stable, and confidence-inspiring. Charging & Power (What to Know) The integrated USB output is on the weaker side. It’s fine for phones, smartwatches, and earbuds, especially for overnight trickle charging, but it’s not ideal for tablets or anything power-hungry. I wish the lamp’s power input were USB-C for easier cable swaps and cleaner cable management. It works as is, but USB-C would make it feel more modern and flexible. Value At this price, the combination of build quality, tilting head, intuitive knob, and brightness/temperature control is hard to beat. It looks and behaves like a more expensive lamp. Excellent lamp. The control is a bit counterintuitive: click the knob for on, then when on, click to cycle through colour temperatures, then click-and-hold to turn off. Rotate the knob for brightness makes sense of course. Click for on, click for off and click-and-hold to cycle through colour temperatures would have made more sense to most people I would say. Regardless, I still think it deserves 5 stars. The lamp quality is excellent and the measured CRI with my Opple Light Master is 98 at 4000K and right around 95 for 2700K and 5000K. I use it as a desk lamp and as an inkjet print viewing light. Superb value for the money.

I purchased this HONEYWELL desk lamp to replace another similar style desk lamp of a different brand which was faulty. This was the best decision I made, because this lamp is built very well with a nice weighted base, simple yet intuitive controls and the light not only goes up and down but can be twisted sideways and has various shades for different times of the day to ease eye strain. What a brilliant idea. Although it is powered by a 2 pin European Plug, I just added an international adaptor to use here in Australia and it works perfectly. The white colour blends in seamlessly with my all white office desk. Having tried other desk lamps which are cheaply made and unreliable, this Honeywell Desk lamp far exceeded my expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone needing a slimline, compact, practical, reliable desk lamp.

Great lamp, we have 4 of them now. The ability to change the tones and the brigtness with the same button makes use a breeze. Aesthetically, they are very modern and very clean for the desks. Lots of adjustability. The USB A & C ports are great little additions for charging devices, not the highest amps but enough to get power back into things.
