So far so good
Pulled the trigger and finally hit “buy it now.” The install wasn’t horrible, my F-150 didn’t have a pre-cut stake hole, so that was a pain, but otherwise smooth. Seems very sturdy

FORD 5-1/2’ BED BEWARE!
•FORD SHORT BEDS DO NOT HAVE THE POP OUTS ON BED. IT SAYS NO DRILL, YOU WILL HAVE TWO DRILL 2 SMALL HOLES AND CUT THEM OUT.They will need to be drilled out. Use a dremel tool!(Thesee images)•All bolts are self explanatory and anyone with common sense can figure out the install, you will need a decent socket set and wrenches! Most bolts are in too tight of a spot for an impact gun.•These mounts are very well made! All holes lined up and the paint doesn’t seem like it will scratch or fade anytime soon.•I feel $200 dollars is expensive for this, however it looks good and allows me to keep my bed cover and have a headache rack.YOU WILL NEED 2 PEOPLE, SOCKET 9/16-13/16, WRENCHES, AND A DREMEL IS VERY HELPFUL.

Tonneau cover adapter worked perfect as described. I urge all buyers to go to back racks website and enter all of their vehicle information and find out what exact products they need. If you just blindly buy this product and not know how to install it, you will end up leaving a 1 star review due to your own stupidity. My tri-fold tonneau cover fits perfect with this adapter. Again, go to back racks website to ensure the adapter will work with your specific cover.

I took a gamble ordering this product hoping it would fit my 2019 F-250 6.5’ bed and it DID even though the description said it would not. Also bought the Tyger trifold softcover from Amazon as well which fit very well with this adapter

Disappointed that there were no installation instructions in the shipment.

It fits!
Works great. Not sure why it cost so much but it fit perfectly on my 2017 f150 short bed.

Straps to hold tonneau cover open very cheap and flimsy
The provided straps to hold the tonneau open are not very high quality, you'll likely need to find another solution. If you have a crew cab Ford F150 with 5.5 bed you'll probably need to cut the plastic to expose the stake pockets.
