Surpassed expectations on all fronts
This product surpassed my expectations, here is what I appreciated. The price was reasonable, but there's more: Beginning with the packaging, it came in a sturdy, yet easy to open package. Once inside, the mounting hardware was well organized and boxed, then packaged in individual sealed plastic pouches. The main unit was preassembled, it too was nicely covered in plastic and had a durable and reusable restraining zip tie on it to keep the spring load from expanding during shipping. All the pieces were there including the special allen wrenches that are needed to make final adjustments. You couldn't uses all the pieces of hardware, I really think that Huanuo, the manufacturer, have probably covered every possible TV or Monitor mounting scenario possible with all the mounting hardware they include and all of it is high quality. The instructions were superb and printed in a high quality paper booklet. There were plenty of graphics that were logical and they too were crisply printed. They were a big help in identifying parts, tools that you'll need to mount it to the wall(s) that are either drywall backed by studs or concrete. An added plus, the language they were written in is American English. Generally, I've found this hard to find in home project kits that are imported from overseas. For my application, I had to give some thought to where to mount the unitnbased on the range of motion that the device would provide, and I'm glad I did that before just drilling mounting holes in my wall and then later finding out they were wrong. (measure twice, drill once) The product quality is 1st class and high quality. The few pieces that do need some assembly fit together well and are not sloppy or have sharp edges. The main pieces are formed or cast metal. The finish on them looks like it is powder coated and it is flawless. The wireways are plastic and they too work well at supporting and hiding the wires. They fit into position without being sloppy or difficult. There is only one product related sticker on the product to aid in adjusting the spring tension, but it too makes sense to be there for assembly, and you could remove it. But how does it work? I have a 22" TV mounted to it that weighs only about 5 pounds. For my purposes, it's terrific! It provides full range of motion as advertised and holds the TV firmly in place, yet is easy to move. I can't speak for longevity of the wall mount device, I've had it only a week, but my expectations are that it will serve me well for years. Are there any cons? Only one that I see. The only suggestion that I can offer, is that the lag screws and flat washers that hold the device to the wall could have been black to match the wall plate mount. Not too worry, a black magic marker will take care of the miss-match. Would I purchase this again? Absolutely yes. Good luck with your project, mine worked out well.

best that's out there
I simply couldn't find any other mounting device with the length or swivel that this has. What I didn't know is how easy it is to setup, and how perfect it is for a 28" monitor. As I have it setup, it's rotation and angle is exceptional, and I use it every day. What I didn't know is that when I'm not using the monitor I can swivel it so the screen is facing the wall, and protecting itself from random chaos like nerf darts or cat attacks. I added soft rubber pads to the front in case of hard contact but that's all the bonus things I didn't realize I could do with it. As far as the mount itself, it is by far the best. The distance and angles it can achieve is not possible with anything else in this price range. It comes with all the screws and hardware I needed, but I already had a drill bit and was able to create pilot holes. I would also recommend to use a strong drill with hex head to set the base up. Those screws are very long and are a pita by hand. Those long screws are phillips type, but also hex head, so you could use a wrench or socket if you have one. I think they are 8mm or something close to that small. That was the hardest part, and still only took me about 20 minutes to organize everything, put tape and a small box up to catch the debris, and complete the installation. highly recommended for people who want extreme angles. I've been using it daily, and it's silent, no squeaks, or any noises at all, the air shock works perfect, and it protects my monitor when I'm not using it, so it's better than I anticipated it could be. How do I give it extra stars?

Great Mount for Value
Extremely quality mount, offering a great tilt feature. It CAN BE very easy to install but if you’re not mounting to a wall stud you will need some heavy duty wall anchors bc the anchors supplied aren’t the best so don’t even bother to avoid holes in your wall. This mount does offer some cable management which is a plus! Once mounted properly, extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Worked for my needs, may not work for everyone
I pulled this arm out of the box, took one look at the mounting plate and knew I could install this within minutes. I grabbed my tools and about 10 minutes later it was installed and supporting a monitor. It helped I knew exactly where I wanted to mount it, there was no time wastes trying to make it fit. It comes with both wall anchors and lag bolts- I wouldn't trust wall anchors with something like this. I pre-drilled the holes for the lag bolts and mounted it to a 2x4 stud. Its really stable and solid mounted this way. The arm has a decent range of motion, my biggest issue is I couldnt dial in the tension spring to allow me to set the monitor to the vertical position I wanted. It was either all the way up or all the way down. I might try tweaking with the tension spring more and see if I can fix this, it feels close to being able to do that. The monitor mount itself (at the end of the arm) has excellent range of motion with pan and tilt to a large degree. You can even rotate the monitor almost a full 360*, giving you a wide range of viewing options. The VESA plate has extenders in case your monitor is larger, but I didn't need them as I used an old, early generation non-wide screen 19" monitor (didn't need a fancy monitor for a NAS). Overall, this is a good arm and I'm very happy to have it. Pros: Sturdy Easy to install Holds monitors very well Lots of adjustments Cons: Takes some fiddling and dialing to get vertical placement to hold where you want it Bottom line: Definitely giving this a recommended rating, it works and it works well.

This arm is well made. Very secure mounting to wall (make sure to screw into a wall stud). Fairly easy to adjust for monitor weight. Easy to change orientation of the mounted monitor. Cable covers are a little on the small side if you are running power, video, and USB. Also, remember that when using the cable routing on the arm, cables will need to run from your computer, to the mounting point on the wall, and then through the full length of the arm. You may need to get longer cables. I am happy with the product and would buy again.

Got this to mount a 34” monitor on the wall by my desk. Its all-metal build is impressively solid, and the spring & extension mechanism seems to work smoothly with no squeaky noises. It was also very easy to mount to the stud on my wall, as all the parts are provided, except for your drill and/or impact screw driver. One important thing to note is that the wall-mounting plate is NOT centered aligned with the VESA mounting plate. So, if you want to center your monitor in the fully-closed position, make sure you offset the wall-mounting plate accordingly. The product is design so that you can first mount the VESA plate by itself onto the back of the monitor first. And then after you've mounted the arm onto the wall, you can just lift the monitor and slot the VESA plate into the clip at the end of the arm. To make it easier to raise the monitor (to my chest height) and align the installed VESA plate with the clip at the tip of the arm, I first reduce the spring tension so that it's very easy to lower the arm to my chest height. Afterwards, I re-adjust the spring tension to accommodate the weight of the monitor to hold its position when re-positioning it. With the 34” monitor mounted, the arm moves fairly smoothly. It was also easy to adjust the gas spring tension to compensate for the weight of the monitor. However, it was very problematic with the tilting mechanism – it’s both poorly designed and poorly made. I had to tighten the Allen screw with significant force to get the tilt lock tight enough to hold the monitor’s tilt position (hint: use 2 Allen keys, on one side to hold the screw, and one on the other side to tighten). But then, with the tilt screw so tight, it became difficult to adjust the tilt afterwards. After re-adjusting the tilt about a dozen times, the Allen screw became a bit loose so that the monitor's tilt angle sagged easily. I just have to keep in mind not to adjust the tilt too often.

We bought it for our new Echo Show 15 (recently released) and it fits perfectly. It allows to swivel in all directions. We put it under the kitchen cabinets and it comes out to the front and sides so I can watch recipes while kids can watch their shows at the kitchen island. Really great and easy to install.
