Spectra Premium ST42 Fuel Tank Straps for General Motors

I installed these on my 98 chevy k2500. They fit just like the original straps. 1 is a little longer than the other and the original straps are the same way.

Just what I needed

No fear buying these, they are perfectly fitted for your application. The mounting hardware is made from a flimsy cast material. One of them just snapped in half before I was able to fully tighten it. Fortunately I had a package of them in my tool box that were grade 5, so installation of the new fuel tank was not hindered. Outside of the flimsy pot cast material for the mounting hardware they are good and solid. So I gave them 3 stars due to the hardware failure.

Perfect fit, 1990 Chevy C 2500 Silverado 8 foot bed, they are different sizes the long one goes in the back. So don't make some up.

I bought this product after going to the manufacturer's website an confirming that this model is what I needed for my application ('94 Chevy 1-ton 4x4 standard cab long bed w/ 34 gal. tank). One strap ended up being too short by @ 2 1/2 inches. I wound up having to go to the local hardware store to buy a 5 in long bolt to replace one of my new bolts I had bought for the straps. Ultimately I used both new straps and they are new, safe straps, but I don't think I should have had to jury rig the project in order to use them.

one strap was perfect but the other should have been configured differently, i modified the old one and the new one to make it work
