Dr. Harvey's Fabulous Blend Natural Food For Finches, 4-Pound Bag

I did a lot of research before buying this and few even came close to this product. My finches love this! The great thing is that it is organic, and full of really healthy, yummy stuff, from coconut flakes to bee pollen to dried fruit to the freshest, most varied seeds one can buy. As a matter of fact I am in dispute with a seller right now because I have yet to receive an order for this stuff that I placed on-line on February 23rd. I have bought two different kinds of finch food to tie them over, but my birds are not eating it! They pick at it, but there are very few empty seed hulls on the bottom of their cage right now. I am trying to supplement with crushed sunflower seeds and greens, but they won't touch the sunflower. When they eat their greens they devour it now within a minute, and still can't get enough. I try to limit it though because I don't want to cause an intestinal problem and dehydrate them as well. I am getting frantic because finches are very fragile, and many folks accidentally kill these birds by not paying close attention to their food supply, which can be deceiving because the seeds are so small. So, buy this! Your finches will love it!

This seed mix is great!! Love that it's more than just 3 types of seed like other commercial finch seed mixes. My finches love this stuff, I mix it in with their pellet diet and mix it in to their herb forage.

Product has a lot of different types of supplement foods; my finch seem to mainly eat the seeds and not so much the vegetables and fruits this product contains. Although they don't eat the veggies or fruits that I can tell, the seeds are of good quality and I can tell it is when I smell it. It's very natural and of much nicer quality than seeds I have bought at pet stores.

Very good food

I put this into my birdfeeder on my balcony patio. It's very expensive for birdseed, but I wanted to feel like I was helping to keep them healthy. I only sprinkle about an eighth of a cup on top of my other seed. On top of my sunflower millet and Niger. They were at first hesitant, but that didn't last. Now it's one of the first things that's gone from the tray in the morning. Hopefully it helps him to survive in the wild healthy and happy.
