CAP Barbell Olympic Trap Bar and Shrug Bar for Deadlifts

Really heavy duty bit of kit. Very happy with my purchase I found it much easier than deadlifting no back issues. freed up my Olympic bar for benching. Not difficult to put together just don't get the bolts mixed up. Really glad I got this when I did & at that price. Pukka.

Quick delivery, easy to put together and overall solid piece of equipment. It uses Olympic weight plates (2 inch) bargain for the price compared to some of them and well built too. Overall extremely happy and highly recommend

I purchased this on some misleading reviews and information left off from the description . This is despite some claiming its not for Olympic sized weights which are 2” is ! Which I know have to purchase at extreme additional cost weights that will fit this bar as all others i have fit a 1” diameter. Those reviews need to be removed and the information made clear ! Despite that the cost for the build of the bar is better than some at double the cost so would recommend purchase for that alone. 2 stars for tye disappointment of that mentioned but 4 stars for price and solidity.

The first thing you have to bare in mind is this is a cheap alternative to the hex trap bars you find in a commercial gym however it’s a great bit of kit for a home/garage gym and does the same job. I use this to compliment my olympic weightlifting strength training and my son uses it to compliment his plyometrics for basketball strength, all in all 2 happy amateur athletes

Acquistata per la mia homegym perché i manubri non mi erano più sufficienti. Facile da montare e molto robusta. I piedini sono pratici perché permettono di fare velocemente i cambi pesi … La consiglio

Por el precio está estupendo, fácil de montar y aguanta bien el peso que uso yo ahora. No he probado por encima de 100kg pero hasta alli la barra aguanta bien.

A great value hex bar. Assembly was very simple with only 8 nuts/bolts. I put the bolts going outwards so any extra threads wouldn’t scratch my legs. Probably a non issue. I have Bells of steel plates and they slide on no problem. The width of the handles are a bit wider than I normally grip but again, not an issue. So easy and nice to load the plates with the built in stand. Also with the plates loaded, there is a decent amount of space for your hands. They’ve included a spacer to prevent the plates from sliding too close to your hands. It would have been nice to have some knurling on the bar or some registration marks. But for the price, I’ll just add some tape for marks. Again, a bit narrower for the hand holds would be nice but I’ll get use to it. A great purchase and highly recommended. If you’re a beast and need to load this bar HEAVY, perhaps look elsewhere.
