Great for building confidence in young readers.
Bought this for my niece and she loves it. She was getting bullied for her skin tone and I thought this would be a step in the right direction in building confidence. She is young so it was easy for her to understand. She reads it all the time. It is great to add to any child's life because it shows them inclusivity, acceptance, and what it means to be a good human to all.

Love this!
Buy it now!! I love this book and so does my 1 year son. He’s so interactive with this and actually pays attention when reading. So cute and I love that it shows representation of all skin tones. Worth the money

Skin like Mine
This was really easy reading for my grandson however it reinforce the fact to accept himself as he is. In my opinion, the book is a little over priced due to the thickness of the book which consist of only a couple of pages. A small, thin book with great pictures.

Poor grammar, but great book!
My 3-year-old enjoys this story. We're a white/Hispanic family that has incorporated books featuring POC into our library and this is a great addition. It can be enjoyed by children of all colors. My only complaint is that the grammar is not great, but the message is there and it's a beautiful book. The illustrations are wonderful!

A cute way to celebrate diversity
Super cute book! A great way to celebrate diversity and a great way to raise the self esteem of students to know having different skin tones is a beautiful thing.
