This is a really nice scoop. Big son of a gun too! I read a couple of other reviews about it being flimsy, and I don't get where they're coming from. I bought this scoop to use with a commercial ice machine that I purchased for my shop. I'm an electrical contractor, I work out of town alot, and in the summer, I was purchasing about $70 worth of ice a week to keep drinks cold in my coolers. So I bought an ice machine, a used chest freezer, and wha-la! I turn on the ice machine (makes 450 lbs./day) for about 10 hours, fill the bin, then shut it off, bag the ice (that's what the scoop is for) and throw them in my freezer. Endless supply of 10 lb. bags of ice. This scoop is huge and works perfect for that, as well as filling ice chests, etc. Unless you plan to use this scoop as a digging shovel for rock hard ground, it will last forever.

We use this product for a commercial ice machine. I own a construction company and we go through a lot of ice between my crews and myself. This is a large scoop that will transfer lots of ice at once when we're filling our water coolers. It saves time on having to make multiple scoops from the machine. The company had this product delivered exactly when they said they would and even emailed me to make sure I was satisfied. Very deserving of the 5 star rating. I'll be buying more products from this company.

We were on the hunt for a scoop/dispenser of our pellet wood onto the pellet stove....this one is PERFECT! No mess, contains so much and helps refill the stove so efficiently! Its durable but not too heavy where my 8 year old even can help refill with. Great buy for pellet stove owners!!!

This ice scoop feels very sturdy, easy to clean, and very natural in the hand. I've only had it for a couple days, but so far it's the best ice scoop I've ever used. We scoop about 50 buckets of ice per day and so far, everyone loves this scoop and it shows no sign of weakness anywhere. I predict this will be the last ice scoop we'll purchase for years.

Bought this to put coal in our coal stove. It is very sturdy, the size is perfect for large bins (garbage can size), but I should buy the next size down too as it would fit better in our small storage bin (wastebasket size). We could not find one locally, I feel that this was a good price.

I just received it. Took about 5 minutes to remove the product identifying sticker. I will use it to scoop and mix ingredients for potting soil in a large plastic garbage can. This is a very big scoop and just what I need. Made of aluminum it is very sturdy but still light weight. I can fill it up and lift it with one hand. Thanks!

Okay, this is truly my fault for wanting the biggest and baddest scoop to use for my BBQ charcoals. I was searching for a scoop after taking me eons (5 minutes) to fill my charcoal grates with coals using primarily my hands and tongs. I came across the Steve Raichen ones which were double the price and at a third the size of this one. I figured scoops can't be come that big so I ordered two. When it arrived, I was blown away by the sheer size and thought to myself, "man, what did I do???". I think I can cradle my 30 month old son in it or he can use it as a snow sled. Just kidding it's not that big but still. Don't get me wrong, even though it's big it's still pretty light due to the fact that it's made of Aluminum. I tested it out on the charcoal bin that came with my Weber Platinum Grill and thank goodness it fits in there. And better yet, I was able to fill the charcoal grate with only one scoop!!!! Yeah! Overall I am pretty happy with it just wished I had ordered something maybe a two thirds of the size, but at $8 bucks you can't go wrong I guess. Now, I gotta figure out what to do with the second one......

This scoop is sturdy and durable. It will last forever. Well made. I bought it to scoop pellets into my stove. Works really well. Glad I purchased it.
